My Kabal Tournament Victory

Hey,
Last Sunday i came back from a tournament that took place on International Comics festival in Poland. We had about 30+ players though 3-4 great players were not on the list, though the tournament went well. So i decided to share with you and show you what our community represents though not all of us were there. I took first place beating an opponent who sent me in early DE stage to Losers bracket. Though i won i am not really satisfied how i operated my Kabal. Had some major whiff's and lack of good mix up executions - was kinda under pressure.

Thanks Mustard, it wasent easy after the LB but i was indeed calm while fighting him. I had already 2nd place so i kinda chilled out about it and thanks to that i was able to reacted correctly blowing him the fuck away ;]

was this tourney pre patching? i noticed the kung lao player keeping juggles going after two divekicks

Very nice stuff man. I noticed that often with your knee reset you don't do the F4 NDC. I myself often feel its more trouble than its worth. Any reason in particular you don't?

Well if it come out as bare f4 then its a mistake (bad execution) if i cancel into something else its just a mix up, to not fall into pattern. At some point i was stressed - and that is the main factor of bad execution. Really, really in order to execute everything perfectly one must be calm and perform everything with peace of mind.

So basically every F4 reset you should go for the NDC? It only builds like a tiny speck of meter and the odds of whiffing don't justify it IMO. Of course I'm an online player, so offline my opinion might be different.

Well, remember that when you NDC after f4 it sorta brings you closer to opponent. And i have a feeling like it cuts down the recovery time a little bit. Allowing you to continue pressure.

bare bone f4 is bad. Cancel it to anything - Hs, Bs, Ndc. It will always be better finisher then bare bone F4.
