Modtools for mk9 work for mkx (where can i find them)

i downloaded several awesome skins and i have seen you can change the music to your favorite tracks.

where can i download the modtools to extract textures from characters ???
are they working for mkx ???

kinda would love to change the music tracks and character textures. and somehow my mk9 skins stopped working so a link would be helpful so i cant ake my skins and trow the edited texture on the new model

We can't mod MKX yet. @ least not like MK9. About the only thing that can be done @ this point is Using Cheat Engine to Swap Characters in a tower {Ladder} But an actual table for it hasn't been released yet.

The Packages for MKX are completely different than what was used on MK9 {UE3 was even more heavily modified this time around.}

The creator of the UE Tools we used for MK9 and pretty much every single UE Game, Gildor, has already stated that it would be highly unlikely he'll be able to modify his tools to decompress & extract the files for MKX.

but from what i have seen so far, it is possible to extract the textures.

That was done manually there are no mod tools @ this juncture. Read the post for his sonya skin & he explains what he did. Btw, his method results in low quality textures. MKX uses bc7 textures, which Nvidia texture tools doesn't natively support.

hope the developers make it more easy to mod. the games i like the most all have modtools or make some contst for skins , this keep games alive

in chivalery they even payed the players and made a contest ,added the winner maps to the default game and mentioned the creators in the credits

ok nude texturesfor mileena found , now i have to save them in dds format and import them somehow in the xxx file. if anyone is more experianced then me , who is a totally noob , help is welcome XD
