KoreytheDragon Wins Epic Gaming League Week #8!

This week saw a lack of many notable faces, but we had new competitors in the top 8 along with the return of some of the strongest Dallas players including Bigmilk, Ofidyan, and KoreytheDragon. The new blood consisted of Dark55, Whitelantern, and Greguu. Dark55 is Ofidyan's training partner and struggled to find a main in this game, but he picked up Sun God Kotal this week and wrecked shop with him to get third place. Whitelantern has attended many of the weeklies but has never placed this high with his GM Subby. But the real shocker of the tournament was Dallas' own Greguu fighting his way to grand finals. Although Greguu has had success at VGP tourneys and other locals, he has never done this well at an Epic weekly. Greg was knocked in to losers by KoreytheDragon but in a surprise twist decided to pick Kenshi in the GF. He reset the bracket 3-0 and looked like he might win it all, but Korey showed great adaptation and ended up taking the final set 3-1.
