I STILL read the comic. Sooo many dead before even Injustice 1's events took place. However, we are facing multiple realities and a universe known for time travel and dimension traveling. No one is off the boards here. Anyone could show up. BTW if you read the Trickster/Bizarro arc of the Injustice comic you will feel like crying. It is one of the most tragic things I've seen ever written for Bizarro. There are reasons this series still wins awards and nominations from fans.

  • Dick Grayson became Deadman.
  • Plastic Man and his son are hiding.
  • Black Canary and her son were sent to a parallel dimension.
  • The Titans are in the Phantom Zone, iirc.
In the game:

Hal and Sinestro were taken to the Guardians.
KF, Damian, Cyborg, Catwoman, Flash arrested.
Raven knocked out.
Captain Marvel/Shazam and Lex died.

Also... The I2 announce trailer briefly showed a Brother Eye thing. And Luthor Wayne Enterprises which might mean Batman's ending is canon.

Remember that there is at least 2 universes related to the Injustice story. So I don't think if a character die in the comic book, he/she won't make it into the game

You forgot Green Arrow, Beast Boy, and Kid Flash on the death list.

The latter two died in the explosion.

Also, since we're discussing the comics ANYWAY, let's make this exciting and guess who killed who.

Wern't there several things in the comics that didn't make sense/couldn't be reconciled with the game? I'd have to look up examples. It was some pretty poor writing with how easily several characters got killed though. Sinestro just killing Kyle by taking off his ring....wtf?

I honestly can't think of a single instance where the game contradicts the comic or vice versa. I'm sure there's something there but they've been very faithful.

And I don't really see an issue with how Kyle got killed, he got jumped by Sinestro and then Sinestro ripped his finger off. Not Kyle's finest moment for sure but I thought it was great for Injustice. It loves the shock value and I think it's part of it's charm.

Martian Manhunter and Batgirl's existence, which side of the war Green Arrow was on. Nothing major.

In the comics, Martian Manhunter is seen apparently dying and falling in the ocean.

In the game, his ending reveals he was that Atlantean in the story mode that Prime Aquaman was talking to.

In the game, Superman said his child was a son, but the comics say it was a girl.

In the comics?

Damian killed Dick by throwing an Escrima stick at his head which knocked him out. Dick snapped his head on a rock while unconscious.

Sinestro killed Kyle Rayner, Despero John Stewart, and Kilowog.

Superman killed Mogo, Ganthet too (iirc), Green Arrow, Kalibak.

The Spectre killed the original Deadman.

Renee Montoya died fighting Superman, as she was pumped up on Super pills and her heart gave out.

Wonder Woman snapped Huntress' neck with her lasso.

Captain Atom died in an explosion. I think his suit was ruptured.

Superman technically cut Black Canary in two with his Heat Vision, but Dr. Fate intervened and sent her and son to a dimension where Oliver Queen lost his Dinah.

There's still more I'm sure I forgot.

Edit: Hal Jordan killed Guy Gardner.

I need to get caught back up on the comics, I read a few issues of year 5 but forgot about them. How far are they in now?

Nice breakdown, also reading the comic and I think
that alfred dies by the dude with tattoos all over him from Arkham, forget his name a bald guy he's a killer

Also add to your list Heatwave, Weather Wizard, Trickster and Bizarro also are dead.

I'm also thinking one or two things, how they can bring back some of these dead characters from the comics and game A. Lazarus Pit a la Jason Todd style or B. Earth 1 versions from the first game or even another Earth since the DC has a multiverse that's infinite. Also didn't Superman kill a Guardian too?

By what was said in a few of the intros/clashes, I'm thinking Supergirl arrives on Earth not knowing anything about bad Supes, frees him and then becomes his major opponent (like Prime Supes).

They killed all alternate Lanterns and Jordan was stripped, perfect time to add Simon Baz. Blue Beetle/Static will probably free the other Titans from the Phantom Zone. Prime Green Arrow was training Red Arrow, so he could be in the comics.
