I've just inflicted an X-ray grade facepalm upon myself....netcode like that between regions...
Do you people even know what netcode is or just use if as a buzzword for every network interaction?..

This racist bull shouldn't be tolerated!Come on man, get that out of your system, it's pure poison, really.
How is it racist? Do demographics no longer exist? This racist bull shouldn't be tolerated!
You are absolutely right but there's a reason why it's happening. Gamers want more everyday but are not prepared to pay more. If you present them with a model like micro transaction they will throw it back at your face. The reality is that a completely bug free game that is graphically inferior and offers less content will sell less. Or if you wish to retain those qualities and price the game higher again it will sell less. So the devs save money by cutting down on testing and releasing early.I love this generation where the consumer is the beta tester...
Don't start with your "well if this was the 90's" excuses...
LBSH how many games did you play as a child / young man back in the day and they had multiple functions of the game unable to play / working? Sure there were the cheap characters, but I'm talking about ALL games...
Being able to patch games is saving face for 99% of companies these days...if they didn't update would you seriously buy a game that is 85% ready for release?
I can't remember a game from my childhood that was nothing but bugs, but now it's like nothing works, nothing is finished, you better be happy we offer dlc, and thanks for the wait it's coming soon... Before any of you jump on this and start naming games, I wonder if you can name five games released in the same year that was so buggy it couldn't be enjoyed...Yet, every single game released in this generation seems to fall under this category.
Video games cost so much these days to make, but maybe...just maybe if they gave us a complete product things would turn out better for them...OR is it better to leave a trail of bread crumbs...
https://i.imgur.com/zuR9ss0.webmAll I know is I paid for a broken port to PC. I get around 20FPS and thats OFFLINE and the framerate drops to near zero on any move or stage with a lot of particle effects or lighting. I'm within spec, I'm on Radeon (sadly) and I am pretty well without hope at this point. I play against corrupted Shinnok via flow chart psychically because by the time the screen starts moving again its over. I'm running minimum settings, forced down to around 800x600 resolution and its still garbage. I can't even begin to go for bread n butters because everything is just plain trash to work with in this environment.
I don't own nextgen and I will not trust them with my money for the already delayed high voltage port to PS3 in June. They shipped me a broken product and I am very irrate today about this and tired for once of being positive. I err on the lighter side of giving developers the benefit of the doubt since I was an animator and deal with the hard stuff too on performance woes on my own project, but this...you dont just go ahead and put it out the door if its like this. This is not excusable.
At this point...I am about to start asking for a refund unless they can do something to fix this. It was neat messing around for awhile at this framerate but now that I'm attempting BNB and finding that the game is too stuttery to hit them without learning new timings for each stage I've about had it.
Not like anyone would hold PC as tournament standard anyway though...high voltage studios ruined my chance at being competitive in this game. high voltage, fuck you
i can't even use it as a reliable way to learn the game since there are so many issuesNot like anyone would hold PC as tournament standard anyway though...
Meanwhile did that storymode before they come in with their "fix" to koin gain. So yeah, release your patches, I'm ready.
