Well if I may say this I'm very happy with the roster at the moment. Love Batman, Hal Jordan-GL, and Green Arrow for heroes they are my top three DC heroes ((If only Question was in )). As for villains love Sinestro, Joker, Harley, and Doomsday. Even if I still wish that we got Parasite and Killer Croc as well.

GAMEPLAY BREAKDOWN

RAVEN:

1. Looks like she has an anti-air telegrab move that has a hitbox in a good position above her head.

2. She has a grounded telegrab. It's really unclear if she has three versions of it like C.Viper or Shang Tsung or if it's like Ermac's forcepush. Either way, the usefulness of this move will depend on how good it is on block and on whiff.

3. She has a standard duckable projectile that will really well in combination with her telegrabs and her Demonic Trait specials but alone the high projectile has alot of recovery and doesn't seem too reliable at all.

Demonic Trait Raven:

1. She has an amazing teleport that could even be done in the air and seems to have a very low recovery time which is scary.

2. She has grounded demons coming from the ground that could whiff which confirms that they are like Shang's and C.Viper's ground zoning tools.

3. Her other specials seem to get better in her Demonic Trait.

Over all I'd say that without her trait active she isn't very threatening compared to some of the other characters we have seem tools from so far. But when she activates her trait she becomes a literal nightmare to deal with.

Her effectiveness is going to be determined on how often she could activate her Demonic Trait. I actually don't see alot of people using her when the game hits because even though she has some devestating tools, they're not as "derp I force you onto the defense now" as some like Batman's batarangs, Flash's slow down, and Doomsday's invulnarability. Either way she looks pretty solid. No doubt her teleport in her Demonic Trait is her strongest tool.

Too long/Didn't read:

Once the game is out for a long time, I don't see hardly anyone maining her. Not saying she's bad. But she definitely 'one of those characters'. Her teleport is nice, but other than that you'd need a serious character specialist to make her seem great.

All she needs to do is make he TT Raven voice a bit deeper and you're done, it may not even need that as Raven's voice was pretty "grown woman" to begin with.

Catwoman @ 2:15 does a tiny hop over a low attack. If she is able to do this in the middle of the opponent's strings that have lows in them she could seriously handicap some character's offense by quickly jumping a low and going for a full punish. Add that onto her tons of mixups, midrange whip, and unblockable slash trait. Catwoman seems scarier everytime we see new things on her.

Silly to think everything ever created regarding Raven is revolved around Teen Titans, they'll drop the game after Story Mode, so I don't value their opinion too highly nor take it to heart.

As hilarious as it is, it's most likely 100% true.

It's clear that Raven's playstyle with her ground-spike zoning tools is a very acquired taste when it comes to playstyles in fighting games. Unless she is hella broken I don't think a year from now we'll be seeing her in many top8s in majors.

I'd like to see anyone disagree with me here, but I think that's pretty safe to say.

It's the law of thirds, in regards to facial proportion, and a standard of beauty. I know the modelers at NRS know this (It's figure drawing 101), which is why it's baffling to me why they don't make their characters more attractive.

Not saying its wrong, they can play as much as they like, just an educated guess based on how many tym members are begging for characters, skins, etc who've only been registered for two months.
