I feel like I am a "competent" player when it comes to this game. I know for a fact though that my defense is what holds me back. If I'm pressing the offense I usually don't have much to worry about but the second I make a wrong move and over commit to an unsafe string I know in my mind that I have to do whatever it takes to turn the tides. My defense is what keeps me a gatekeeper at my locals.
