I know all of the old school Final Fantasy VII players are beyond salty at the fighting mechanics. I like Hack and Slash type games, so I'm very happy.
Honestly it's awesome , i don't mind the crisis core-ish mechanics as long no roulette stuff. Kinda interested how they're gonna adapt the materia system , gold saucer minigames and holy shit new gen Diamond/Ruby/Ultima weapons? Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
