EX slow forceball glitch?

Sometimes when the opponent blocks a slow forceball from point blank range when I am charging it up, the ball explodes because of the block but then randomly the opponent gets popped up by nothing a few seconds later. The ball disappears and it can take a couple seconds or a while for the enemy to randomly pop up

This has happened several times and I think everytime it happened was from a blocked charging slow forceball. Is there any way to actually use this, or is it completely random?

I had this happen to me last night; I had no idea what happened. (But I still landed a 32 ffb 321 slide while the person was in the air. If I was him--or her--I'd have been pissed.)

Yeah it usually happens at least once a day for me. I like to pressure a knocked down opponent with a charged slow forceball right in their face, so ususally they just block it and then the randomness occurs haha
