I'm not saying EX clone is great,but this is how it can maybe useful,here's what EX clone offers when used off a 212 string.

MINIMUM PUSHBACK
Free 222
Free 224 slide 75% meter back (follow up 212 with a slight pause so clone comes out)
Free F4 iceball/slide/1+2
21-21-21-212 clone 14% chip 75% of a bar back

MAXIMUM PUSHBACK

9% chip off 21-21-212 clone
Slide,22,pause for half a second,212 clone
F4,224,212 clone
Free 222
Free 224

Incase of jumps you have standing 2 and against armour this should never be used.


This is simply something to do once in a while,by no means an effective strategy,but maybe it'll be useful to you.

INCASE 21 is poked you can substitute for 2 22's and the last one can be a 212 to clone or 224 clone.

I tested this in game,the opponent can just jump and you don't get any chip or meter but you should be able to AA for 25% overall making it a good tradeoff for a bar considering the damage he gets otherwise.

i don't know what to think of this,it looks like he becomes Johnny cage until the op builds a bar,this has got to be flawed because subzero is basically the char which gets some leftovers every now and then in terms of tech.

i also add that on the 224 setups and some 21s you can of course deep jik to 212
