General/Other - Goro When will Goro be released in the EU? (UPDATE 28/4)

Move this to the Goro section if need be, I just wanted to see if anyone here had an answer and they might miss it if it was in the Goro section.

The game says Goro is available 'now' and I know he's out in the US editions for 5 dollars but the EU has a conspicuous lack of Goro. And yes yes "just pre-order bro" and I have done, but this is for people who didn't and want Goro. Hell, even some people who pre-ordered in the EU haven't been able to access Goro cos he isn't on the store.

So, any body have any inkling as to his release date? Anything on Twitter I missed? Or has EU-Goro been consigned to the same scrap heap as the Android Mobile Game?

As far as the EU goes, Goro wasn't a pre-order actually.
He comes in a day 1 copy of the game(There's a sticker on the box indicating this), at least where I live.

But as far as the release date for Goro in the store goes in the EU, I have no clue.
The Android App has been reported to be released the 20th though I have not seen an official source on that one.

I emailed Sony Europe about this and have been informed there are no plans to release Goro to the EU store. Thanks NRS. I wouldn't mind so much if he was only for pre orders but the fact that he's in the US store and they couldn't be bothered to release him in Europe is absolutely galling

Are you serious?! Then why there is a (press X to buy Goro) lol? Omg thats disappointing, so only the people who got the day one MKX have access to him? Thats really unfair, I hope they change their minds and release him in the store.

That's weird, though I honestly doubt the guy who emailed you spoke the truth.
Perhaps something went wrong.
I've never really seen a game where a pre-order bonus was a full exclusive, it's usually timed, especially when it involves characters.

It's not a big deal for me since I have him already, but Goro isn't in our store either (New Zealand/Australia). I don't know what's going on or whether he's even supposed to be there yet, but there's no way he won't make his way over there eventually.

Well I'd believe NRS over 'David from Sony ' but NRS isn't giving any details on anything outside the US

Nor have I and I'd be shocked if it were the case, but he's already released in the US (since Thursday), there's absolutely no word on him being added to the store, the game advertises him saying he's available now and NRS is totally silent on the matter. The outlook is not positive and considering I preordered the US edition before the region lock was announced and only got the EU Digital Premium edition the day after (thanks to my GF), I'm fairly irritated over it. Again, I'd be fine if he was pre-order exclusive forever, I could actually kinda respect that but the fact that he's on the US store but not the EU is really rustling my jimmies. And everytime the game is on, there is on the select screen, on the DLC ad thing, just taunting the entire continent of Europe. "Press X to buy Goro"

As a European Android user, NRS is seemingly out to get me. If I gamed on PC I'd suspect a conspiracy at this point.

@tylerlansdown would you by chance have any info on when goro gets put for sale on EU store? (or know who would be the person to ask?)
