See my previous posts.
Got you.. Why is DS always the exception character.... See, a character should not be created with "top tier player" play in consideration, they should be created as even across the board for all ranges of play. So while changing DS trait to make it viable to upper levels of play is fine for those players, but would make him utterly BROKEN in the lower levels of play, thus causing further rage and debate about the character.

he should be forced to charge them and lose the shells when clashed or during stage transition

Yeah... Sinestro's trait is imo very strong but the charge trade off makes him sacrafice space at on point or another (for a zoning character this is huge) or damage. Having it just disappear because of a transition or clash is pretty lame lol.

I think the charge speed is fine, considering he gets about 1/2 a charge off of F2D13 so tbh i hope they don't buff his trait that way like people suggested, but i could see them fixing that clash / transition issue.

I'm sorry? I'm not a 10 yr old troll.. Can you not bring logical rebuttal back other than huur durr?
The argument is.. If the dev buffs DS trait to make it "competent" to high level of play it will break him in the lower levels of play.. Therefore, he stays as is with no change, and the trait can be considered "situational" and not ass.

Low levels of play should always be a viable talking point.
For once I agree with you.. The game is enjoyed by all types of people, with varied levels of play, to cater a character to upper levels is just egotistical.

In what "situation" could the trait be viable besides playing a monkey?

A lot of fighting games do this, though. Really there's never going to be something viable in high level play that might not seem broken at lower levels.

NRS caters to casuals though, so I can kind of see why this makes sense to appeal to the lower-level players. So I guess both arguments make sense in this case.

This game does indeed have characters who are better late game. Characters like Stroke, and Black Adam have strong late games because by that time they usually have a load of meter to spend keeping you away with their unclashable projectiles. DS's trait is pretty bad, but it shines in certain late game scenarios where you need say 15% damage, have burnt all your meter and the opponent is sitting on a ton of meter. Just trait, do your damage and the round is over before you need to worry about a debuff .

Smoke brought up a pretty valid situational use..

I use his trait to make them come to me, lol. I find it much more useful than trying to score some guns that you don't even need since they're going to jump. Just trap them trying to come in with 132 or a 50/50.

Again, unless you're playing a monkey I don't see who wouldn't react to Trait from there. ESPECIALLY if they have meter.

Besides, even if you DO get the trait out, if you want your guaranteed damage you have to use meter as well. If not, you only get a free 5% off of 132 and you're mad negative, if you're lucky you get to sneak in an iaGS or Low GS for your 4%. YAAAAAAY

I wish they would give Deathstroke an entirely new power. His current power is poorly-thought out, mostly useless, and there's no real way to balance it to be effective without being broken. It also makes no sense that he makes some sort of phone call and suddenly gains unblockable bullets.

there are 11 characters off the top of my head who counter AM's trait. Thats not the definition of "get out of jail free".

The correct way to adjust Batman's trait is NOT a charge like Sinestro, its adjust the cool down per bat so that it takes more time before Batman can summon a bat after using them all.

The correct way to adjust AM's trait isn't to disable it after he uses it, its add cool down to it. It has an 8 second cool down, double the cool down on it.

HOWEVER... if you nerf these 2 traits, how about Superman.. Fine is it? 70-100% combos, breaks armor including supers.... AAAAAND, he ALWAYS seems to have it when he hits you for those safe, game ending corner combos.

IMO, people should stop crying for nerfs and think positive. How about for buffs that are reasonable?

Sinestro - How about LESS charge time? Also, How about his trait not leaving after clashes, supers, and transitions?

Bane - How about he has a dash like Doomsday when he is level 3? How about his downtime and down side effects are all like his level 1.

I want you all to realize something... This time around, IF you all get the 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999 nerfs you want, if there ends up being a "Kabal" character... it will be because YOU asked for it.

I think it's awesome. He thinks you're so free that he actually stops bodying you just to call up his buddy for a minute and then goes back to kicking the shit out of you.

How does anybody NOT like this?
