Alex JeBailey posted an idea on Facebook a few hours ago introducing the idea for a concept match at CEO (Community Efforts Orlando) that would take place from June 28-30 this year. The idea is to put the three best Mortal Kombat players against the three best Capcom players... and see who is better. This idea came about from PAX East this past weekend where Marvel EVO Champ, Filipino Champ called out the Mortal Kombat community.

"Let me call out the MK community: The only reason they're winning, is because the REAL players aren't playing Mortal Kombat. If Alex, Me, Ricky, Justin were playing Mortal Kombat, none of them would ever win. So Mortal Kombat community, if you guys want to beat us, the Capcom fighters, let's all play Injustice and let's see if you guys are gonna win, okay? Because everybody know their champion Perfect Legend, he doesn't win our games, he only wins Mortal Kombat, but when he crosses over to the other games, no chance. So I'm calling out all you guys out there, the reason why you guys play the other games, is because the skill level is lower, you can't play the harder games, so let's all play Injustice, let's all be competitive, and you know, I'll see you guys at the next tournament."

So, in order to make this official... Alex JeBailey has started the topic over on Facebook to gauge interest. (This is a no-brainer) But head over to the Facebook page now to hit that "Like" button and comment saying "DO IT!" or something similar!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! The major 20minutes from my house is going to have the FIRST hype exhibition in Injustice history? AAHHHHH FUUUUUUUUUU

This shit got me so hype. I don't care how many of you say this wouldn't be amazing, you guys are lying to yourselves if you think you wouldn't enjoy watching this.

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
The Best in Marvel that are jumping ship are no doubt F. Champ, Chris G, and Justin Wong.

Thats Sinestro, Green Arrow, and Batman almost guaranteed as the matchups MK will face. Choose wisely. I've watched these guys almost nonstop since Marvel 3 first came about. Here is how they will most likely play their characters because its how they tend to play everything else that works for them.

  • Chris G will try to stay full to mid screen but wont hesitate to full combo extend something if he can. He techs throws like a beast BTW and is possibly the fastest punish player with footsies meaning he will be in and out, but wont hesitate to just plain stay out if he's unsure. Get in his head and he is his own worst enemy though. He beats himself up if he makes a stupid mistake.

  • Justin Wong will try to stay all over you with pressure and punishes. You cant make him break composure. Go big on him and do NOT give him breathing space. He plays best with his back against the wall...its like he gets faster and more precise. Do NOT get in the corner against him. His best play comes from cornered opponents so be mindful of stage hazards that limit your mobility and ones that give you an escape route vs him. They will be the key to surviving if he gets started.

  • F. Champ will likely try to put up a wall of offense. You'll likely have to punish Sinestro vs F. Champ...he is pure offense and never stops moving. Stay on him and give him no breaks and he folds. He often does "stick changes" like at EVO to gain breathers to collect himself if he struggles. DO NOT REACT TO HIS SMACK TALK. It takes precision to get through his constantly moving offensive style. Get angry and he will rip apart any half thought move you make.

Skill level in MvC3 is a joke, and thats a fact.
Even if that was the case, would you say the same for SSF4: AE? Many of the Marvel 3 players play SF4 as well and they do fairly good. They're not as consistent and as good as for example Infiltration, but they're good enough.

As for the Capcom setup, I would like to see ChrisG, Justing Wong and I guess PR Rog. I don't see FilipinoChamp being able to pick the game up as fast as the other guys could do it.

MK players enslave the peasant capcom community.

Why do people let this kind of stuff get to them? The funny thing is, i dont recall anyone from the MK community claiming to be the greatest SF or Marvel player. But because FChamp said somethi.ng stupid that everyone acknowledges was asinine, we have to give it attention.

Hell, are the players from the MK community going to start complaining towards the anime fighters commnity next after one of their players say something?

Hype is only legit if there's genuine bad blood. Are we supposed to back down from a challenge? Are we supposed to ignore the opportunity to prove ourselves? Not only that, but this is an opportunity for incredible hype and promotion. Do you guys not see the bigger picture here?

I fail to see the bigger picture. Probably, because it's not even there.
All I personally see is patheticness. Why? Well ...

... The Capcom community didn't challenge you. FilipinoChamp did, a famous trash talker from their community.
You all get hyped up, start creating threads about it and gatheting people, theorycrafting about match ups and so on and so on, which is funny in the end of the day, but it kinda is pathetic and I don't want to insult anyone right now.

The problem is that they probably don't even give a damn about you. Chances are high that not even FilipinoChamp gives a damn about you and that he has already forgotten what he has stated during that video.
But you keep on going, bashing them, calling it a challenge, even though there was no challenge at all. It was just FilipinoChamp talking out of his ass once again.

Who and why doesn't matter. What matters is that F.Champ, whether he meant to or not, created an opportunity. An opportunity not just for the MKC, the SFC, or whatever other community, but for the entire FGC and Injustice as a whole. It's called promotion. This rivalry of communities is not going to do anything but surround the game with hype and excitement. Not just for tournament players, for stream monsters, or people simply watching at the event. Do you realize what the hypest match I've ever seen in my life was? And I've seen A LOT of SF4, Marvel, MK, etc streams, tournaments, videos, etc. It was PL vs CDJr at MLG Columbus playing MK9. It wasn't because of the match, it was because of the story behind it and all the build up to it. All the controversy, hype, arguing, videos, EVERYTHING that led up to that match, just made it unbelievably hype.

The problem is that they probably don't even give a damn about you. Chances are high that not even FilipinoChamp gives a damn about you and that he has already forgotten what he has stated during that video.

You obviously don't even realize what is going on or even attempting to. You already have it in your head that everyone in the MKC is just taking what he said personally and that we care about his opinions. It is clear that you won't get it, even when it happens, you'll be so caught up in your close-mindedness that you'll miss it. While everyone else is getting hype and enjoying the intensity, you will be in the background confused.

You're still saying everyone is bashing "them", when not everyone is, and you think the people that are doing it are doing it out of hate or BECAUSE of F.Champ. But even if they were, you simply can not, and will not understand the power of legit rivalries and tension. You've close your eyes to all the Capcom guys bashing us since this rivalry has started. You have ignored F.Champ continuing to say we're trash. You pay no mind to them trolling MK streams even before all of this, but also after. You're oblivious to them doing any wrong at all. You think that the only reason there's this tension is because of F.Champ, when there's been this tension for years, even before MK9. You simply just don't know what you're talking about, or what is happening.

I'm kinda new to the TYM community, in that I only really joined after I wanted to know everything/talk about everything to do with Injustice. I played MK a lot but never went on a forum or whatever.

So with that in mind: I've seen a few of these threads now about MvC3 guys saying whatever and tournaments etc. but haven't commented, I mean do MK NRS fans really hate MvC3 Capcom that much? and vice-versa? Because I would have thought that most people here would play both?

That's a good one and something Juggs should realize as well.

I hate Cashcom as a company, because of what they're doing and coming up with more and more bad business practices, while I love NRS for what they're doing and offering more and more and putting the standard of fighting games higher and higher.
I'm neutral when it comes to the communities for the games of these two companies, while it should be mentioned that Crapcom unforunately simply has a bigger community. With a bigger community, it's easier to get more retards who trash-talk and so on.

What Juggs for example fails to realize is that with his so called "hype" he is splitting the communities further.
In my opinion there should be a specific Injustice community that combines the best out of the two worlds: the players.
It's just like with SFxT. I don't consider that one particullary a Capcom fighter, because the game does differ from other Capcom fighters. It's like SFxT is a game on it's own and has a standalone community, where many different people play, including Capcom players.

Forcing the MK9 community into a battle against the Capcom community in Injustice could create more animosity and not hype.

In my opinion:

REO
CDJR
Perfect Legend

If the MKC wants to win they got to give them these. If they pick FChamp just for the sake of it being hype then it would be great because I don't think FChamp would be as strong as some other Capcom players in a game's early life.
I agree, I think the times are changing and a lot of new players have made their mark, but those 3 remain are 3 most accomplished players.

Though I can easily see the team being just as good with Pig, Tom or 16 Bit in there.

Skarlet who ?
Um, right. Did you forget where your at?

Skill level in MvC3 is a joke, and thats a fact.
Yes. Let's all listen to Tim Static, a guy who constantly beats guys like Champ, Chris G, Yipes at Mahvel, saying that UMVC3 requires no skill.
