Thanks. And as bad as this sounds, I'm not confident in the sheeva v kit MU lol. I almost never ran that MU with her at a high levelNice chart, Khaotic. I like how you don't downplay your character...like 16 Bit. lulz. But Kit vs Sheeva might be 8-2.
I punish it on reaction with 2 xx fastball with Reptile. I didn't even fight vs Reptile all that often when I played a lot.I'm going to be serious here, the Reptile community hella underrates punishing dash.
If I say it isn't that difficult to punish if you set your mind to it, I get blown up.I punish it on reaction with 2 xx fastball with Reptile. I didn't even fight vs Reptile all that often when I played a lot.
It's seriously not as hard as it sounds.
I get happy when I punish it online. If I say it isn't that difficult to punish if you set your mind to it, I get blown up.
If I say it isn't easy to punish, I get blown up lol.
Lol people need to blow you up for the latter, not the former. Come on, people are punishing d1s and shit on mostly reactions...we're counterpoking shit amazingly well nowadays. If I say it isn't that difficult to punish if you set your mind to it, I get blown up.

Pretty convincing. Hmm well I guess it could be a 5-5 at most because you do fight a more advanced cage than me all the time. Do you mind if we play some at scr?She controls the MU except point blank. First he has to get past her zoning with IAF then he has to get past her footsies. He can only beat her footies by taking a huge risk or hoping the Kitana screws up. If she hits him she does half life and is back to keep out. If he's right he either does decent damage into pressure or more likely is just in and has her blocking and begins his game. Obviously once he's in it swings to his favor but her tools for dealing with it are pretty good. Her d+3 can go under f+3 and linking normals into Ass is good for escaping.
I have seen your brother play the MU against Dizzy in tournament. His biggest problem is his overuse of d+1 to get out. Dizzy will often stop his pressure and if you try to poke out with d+1 you're getting lit up. He also will interrupt d+1~cutter because it has a gap. You cannot use d+1 as your main way of getting out. At this point I only use d+1~cutter against him for two reasons. One is if I am pretty sure he's going to do a high(like if I read throw or 2,1 after an EX forceball trap) or...if I just want to check if he's having an off day and not on point with his counter poking lol. You need to use d+3 to poke out. That way if he counter pokes it's not a punish you just have to block the f+3 and if you're right and poke out you get advantage and a mixup.
Also what a lot of people don't get about the Cage counter poking metagame is that he can't be waiting to counter poke AND continue his pressure. When you're fighting a Cage that is looping f+3 and stopping for counter pokes it means you can now try to jump out, walk out or even just throw him. When you fight Cage and you're in his pressure you cannot be scared and freeze up. So many people do this, even the top players. The guessing game is heavily in his favor but you must play it. Otherwise you'll just lose.
Nice chart, Khaotik. I like how you don't downplay your character...like 16 Bit. lulz. But Kit vs Sheeva might be 8-2.
we should bring an audio recorder and turn the ride there into a podcast. I'm sure there will be some classic downplaying and other shennanigans happening. We'll be talking about this betrayal on the way to Coco sunday...
i'm going to go ahead and have it as a 5-5, Kitana does have to work alot harder, but the big thing that keeps it even is she has good footsies and one jump in and that's 50 percent. Liu's does win the zoning battle for sure and has a better rushdown, kitana has better range on her normals and more dmg. She can also get a few cutters in on him bcuz of his huge hitbox. Overall it isn't too bad for kitana at all, takes alot of patience.Lui can zone her out and build meter.
He literally can punish d1 with b3 into combo, as well as whiffed cutter pretty hard.
His pressure is very good as well
If his zoning wasn't as good as he has it now, perhaps it could be even.
Thing is, there's only one Lui Kang now out there that's good, and that's MIT.

nice analysis, still a 5-5 for sure though. Actually i'll put it simple as to why it is a 5-5:She controls the MU except point blank. First he has to get past her zoning with IAF then he has to get past her footsies. He can only beat her footies by taking a huge risk or hoping the Kitana screws up. I always had this as 7-3.How does Kitana not beat Baraka 7-3? After any blocked Blade Charge, Raka HAS to block a F2. She controls spacing so well, and whiff punishes extremely hard.
Cage-Kitana 5/5, you're a better player than I, hence why you kick my Kit's ass. Same goes for Dizzy, who I believe is the best MK player I've faced (aka got the living shit kicked out of by.) Hard to judge mus based on people you played 10000 times, due to learning each other's tendencies.Mileena 5-5 and cage wins 6-4 at least from my experience against kitana which I fight everyday. Jax is a solid 5-5 also based from what I've seen of my bro vs tyrant.

I have it as 7-3 again and here's why:@xKhaoTikx I recently heard you say that the Sub vs Kit mu is not 7-3 after fighting Tom Brady yet you have it 7-3 now. Care to explain?
Dude I actually think Mileena goes even with Kitana. Mileena still has some good tools in that MU.I have it as 7-3 again and here's why:
The fact that kitana can literally win by just zoning alone says a lot. His corner game is almost non existent. Ice clone can be blown up with ex fan toss with a very good read. Slide/ex slide can be baited out and punished hard.
Now, if sub gets the lead, then it can be a real bitch, but even then, all kitana has to do is just play patient, make good reads on ice clones, and sslowly work him into the corner, in which he as no safe way out.
Tom Brady's sub is just on a whole Nother level man. I've never played a sub like his and I don't think I ever will. He plays that Match perfectly, but even Brady himself said it was 7-3.
Also, there's no way that kitana beats sub 6-4 if she beats characters like cage, Lao and mileena 6-4. The advantage that kit has over sub is greater than the advantage she has over Lao/cage/mileena.
cage is a 5-5 for sure. it's all about positioning and footsies in this mu. Up close cage will wreck her stuff, but if she manages to keep him out, she'll have the advantage.I have it as 7-3 again and here's why:

This is a match we must run at NEC bro.Dude I actually think Mileena goes even with Kitana. Mileena still has some good tools in that MU.
Man, when Tom gets the life lead, his game is such a bitch to play lol.Tom is amazing in the Sub vs. Kit MU. It's a MU that totally suits his play style. When we play it feels like it's only 6-4 for her because it's so BORING. I can't keep playing solid and lame for a long set like he can lol.
Try playing that MU for hours on end with Sonya. Sonya wasting 1 bar of meter can potentially lead to her losing the game. Its annoying.Man, when Tom gets the life lead, his game is such a bitch to play lol.
