Your right, it's NRS' fault and only their fault why their character bias gets in the way of balancing the game. You can only do so much without a mid starter, an overhead, etc.

Good point, but if the general consensus is that D'vorah is so awful she shouldn't be played, isn't an urgent fix required just to make her viable? I mean, people are just going to forget she exists since everybody but the most die-hard fans have reasonably avoided playing her on account of how negative-broken she is.
The reality is if she gets the help she needs (let's say she ends up being upper mid or one of the better characters) ppl will play with characters that can help them win the best. Jax in MK9 (at launch he was hot garbage) and he eventually got a fuck ton of buffs and ppl gravitated towards him, If a character sucks well of course there aren't going to be ppl who want to play them (case and point: Alien after the last MKX patch where his usage became non-existent). Tanya went through that phase for a while when she got nerf to oblivion but then one of her variations became viable again where ppl played her. The reality is also that devs can't just drop patches any day they want and even if they dropped it suddenly it would piss off players who have put hours into their characters (Case and Point: CSZ and Cyrax being nerfed after ONLY a month they were released as DLC because ppl overreacted to SETUPS AND TOUCH OF DEATH COMBOS without them being given a chance for ppl to figure out tech). At this point in the game they're probably going to drop it just after EVO (abt a little over a month from now) and they probably do realize they made a mistake by nerfing her unreasonably (Not the first time NRS has done this, case and point: killing Aquaman into oblivion in I2, nerfing Bo when he already sucked in the hotfix a month after KP2, nerfing Captain Cold even tho he was fine)
