Jax: d1d2 is -5 from -7. f3 commandgrab connects on hit and block. combo damage reduce 3-5%.
Takeda: Blade call hits once, no more armor breaking properties
Liu kang: flying kick MB is +1 from +2
Mileena: 6 frame D1, 8 frame D+3. Low Sai more advantage on hit. Better recovery on instant air sais
Jaqui: BF2 is -10, EX is safe and has alot of pushback. Currently has a infinite with straight shotgun into 1212
Scorpion: safe b4 (sweep) in ninjutsu and can be canceld into specials

How do I get my beta off of reading stats data? It's been there ever since two or so days ago, when beta went godlike, apparently. please :/

I finally am able to play the beta and I have to say, I am extremely impressed by the improvement. I've only had 1 laggy set and it wasn't even close to what we're currently dealing with.

It feels very smooth, reacting to your opponent is actually a thing, it's one of the best online modes I've ever played for a fighting game. And I've played a lot of them. I would honestly pay for this netcode improvement. (I hope we don't have to but I would, it's that good)

Man I'm mind blowing by this connection I played @zoofs in a really long and fun set between 170-180 although a little choppy at first the connection was surprisingly good.

We where both getting out hardest Combos, just frame punishes and shit and it will only approve

Really good shit NRS so far

P.S region lock better be removed as it makes no sense now

I hope some of my characters are added soon, such as Cassie, Kitana, Ermac, Sonya... So tired of being succomed into this scorpion vortex
 
Stuff I've noticed, sorry if this has been posted already

Jax can just straight up combo into his command grab on grounded opponents, slight damage nerf from combos using overhead dash punch

Johnny juggled nut punch doesn't react the same way it used to. Airborne nut punch might be gone?

TBH I was expecting it to be -1, a high, and having a time limited activation (So he can't just throw it midscreen to be in your face and + on block). I also expected F213 FBRC to get reduced from +13 to +8/9 and B1 to hit high.

But nooooope, Liu Kang confirmed to be designed as a top tier character.
Lmao at all those changes. So lost his confimed jailing (while a list and swarm queen retain theres), have his fly kick be minus and a high and limited time to ex AND make b1 a high. Good one. All he needs is his mb fk to be 0 or -1 so everyone has a chance to escape and/or increase the startup of b12. Holy crap your nerfs lol

Only change ive seen with takeda is ronin recall only hits once on block now. Jax can take his command throw on hit on f3 f4 and b12u3, also his d1d2 is -5 now instead of -7, mileena has a 6f d1 and 8f d3 and less recovery on air sais now she can do insta air sais, lius mb fly kick is +1 instead of +2 and dualist buff stays on hit, healing feels faster. Some other changes but thats all i remember for now if anyo

How long is the window to tech a throw from the moment they grab you? I've never even tried teching throws before but I might give it a shot now. Don't even know which buttons are for forward and backwards tech.

1 and 3 tech back throws, 2 and 4 tech forward throws.

I've run into this issue a couple of times in beta. I don't know if it's specific to Jacqui or what. Sometimes it looks like the fighting is too low on the screen, like the camera is floating around or something. Am I just seeing things weird or is this an actual glitch?


Starts at around 27 seconds.

At around 48 seconds, I do Jacqui's 1212 screen, and the camera seems to go crazy floating up and down.

How long is the window to tech a throw from the moment they grab you? I've never even tried teching throws before but I might give it a shot now. Don't even know which buttons are for forward and backwards tech.
The way I remember is if my back is "2" the wall it's 2(4) to tech
Now it's not easy to tech you have to looking for it and ready to tech
