Steam Forums some posted this to send to wb games
"This game is almost a half year old and developer has decided to the drop the support for PC and they have even made it official on their own forums and twitter while the console version of this game which was released and sold for the same price as the steam edition did is still getting patches + DLCs + support + improved netcode upgrade, selling this product on store is not a legit action at its current stats."

Under games send this to MKX and MKX Online Beta :D

In the end all this does is increase sales for other games who I think are diving into this properly.

In my case it's murdered any faith I had. The way everything was done is shady af.

Actually, CIS played MKX on PC for ESL. Makes me curious.

I've already messaged him just like I messaged Angry Joe yesterday.

It's impossible our actions won't bring some positive consequnces, we just gotta stay calm and civilized, but we must not give up if we're to achieve a change. This is how it works in all areas of life, we have to stand strongly together in this!

So, it has been almost two days since they announced MKXL as exclusive for consoles and we haven't heard anything official about the fate of PC version. Boon and Netherrealm behave like MKX didn't ever exist on PC, i mean, what the hell? I hope developers will stop ignoring us, cause I can't even believe they did a thing like this.

There was more than a tweet. Tyler wrote a whole 14(?) words to clear up the situation in this very thread!!
I for one am glad that those at NRS can be so open and honest with their customers.

we bougth MKX pc because we still wanted to be part of the mk community, only on a different platform
a lot of skilled players emerged too (st9rm, jupe, rza and sorry for all of those I forget to mention) same way as the console, a whole region played esl on pc (and believe me when I say russians are everywhere in rooms on pc)
because in the end we ALL gathered here to discuss, test and share strategies

when we signed up for mkx pc we were automatically included in the mkx playerbase, 500k copies at launch is not a low number considering the surroundings
especially when you did not estabilish a playerbase because you fucked up your 2 previous pc releases (mk9 and igau)
I bought mkx almost exclusively because I had a hell of a good time on the 360 with mk9

this kind of decision should not have other parallels in real life, you deliver a product, people buy it because believes in you..they don't expect to be treat like shit

like i said before... you can yell and scream about it but that wont fix it!

remember i was a PC player first!


i started this game off with PC

but with the buggs, failed Patches, Late Content, Lack of NRS interest. i decided it would be better to get another console.. and i got 2, the PS4 and XB1.

not saying you should do something i didnt allready do.

and btw it did effect me!

also, you're preaching to the choir, I've got both ps4 (with mkx) and X1 (no mkx) months/years before this announcement
but it was entirely up to me and my decision alone..My pc experience was still fine but I wanted additional challenge and a fresh batch of opponents

but this is not the point, the 'leave it be, what can you do?' attitude is plain wrong
from a community standpoint everyone should agree, who cares about potatoes or masterrace what are we, 11?

I submitted a ticket as feedback.

"As an owner of the PC version of this game and a fan of the Mortal Kombat Series, I, along with other fans of the series, hope you seriously reconsider your decision to have these updates be exclusive to PS4 and Xbox One players and hire a team, if need be, to be dedicated to updating the PC version of Mortal Kombat X to match whatever future updates and content that may come for the PS4 and Xbox One versions."

... I really don't know what the chances are of them changing their decision, but it's worth it to at least try. They are getting a lot of backlash over it and maybe they'll value their reputation for the future enough to make an effort to give the PC users the same content that other users will be getting.

then get a refund on your pc version. i did.

i really dont see the problem your having if you have 2 consoles to play it on?

Because no one wants to pay another 100$ on a game they already own? BEcause Steam refund policies designed to stop nonsensical refunds are actively being used to fuck over people who bought it while it was actually functional with things to look forward to?

Nice that you can drop a bunch of money on two consoles and another copy of the game. Not everyone has the luxury.

I can't believe some of you apologists on here.

NRS and in particular Ed Boon have been dishonest about the state of all versions of this game since the outset, and 2015 in general was a nightmare for WB. Arkham city received much the same fate but those players refused to bend over. So it's still receiving patches to this day. This is the FGC with the highest budget yet gives the worst service. There is no excuse.

I spent just as much as you console players for the privilege to buy which along with the revelation that the online is not to be patched a broken product.

At the very LEAST PC players should be given a code for a free version of the equivalent of what they spent on their console of choice.

I really wanted to wanted to play this game, but looks like I will be moving to SFV. This is the final straw for me with this company. I can't even say with the net-code improvements finally after what 7 years, that it's too little to late.... it's just not there at all.

With the region lock on ps4 and the fact I live in an obscure area of the world, A console is not even an option.... Fuck you WB (I wont say NRS cause they probably didn't have much of a choice here)
