I'm actually super shocked people don't or didn't think Wound could hang with his success and resume in MKX, Injustice, and MK9, hes never been a slouch in doing work in these games.

Also, lol @the PC police. "Be a gentleman, have some manners" and let's try to downplay the win just because it was close. Please take several seats.

Well, if you want to proove that you are a better player, maybe also proove that you are not an asshole.. Im not involved in this beef in any way but acting like a douche won't help you gain respect just because you won a ft10. Everyone who follows NRS scene knows that Wound is a great player, and those who don't are dumb or just uninformed. Why would you even care what haters think since

It's always scary that we play video games. Video Games. Yet people are so offended on the behalf of people they've never met... over video games. The set was fun. Both sides played solid. Wendy's put down Burger King. Everyone wins. Well except those still taking pot shots at the winner for winning.

The only reason he's even yakking it here now is because this was supposed to be Pl Vs Fox pt. 2. The battled at Wounded Knee was supposed to expose W.C. as another plebian hype man who can't back it up. But that's not quite what happened. Let's just chill hermanos.

I chose Forever King, I'll admit that.

Mostly because I always support my fellow Batmains.

Honestly though, that set was possibly the best set we ever had the pleasure of watching. I don't even care who won. Pure entertainment value.

But there is no argument denying that you are the Shinnok of the world.

But it's not fans arguing. This isn't team or player a is better than player b. It's people taking shots at someone playing the same game as them for winning a set people didn't give them a chance in. Or being offended on behalf of someone whom they've never met. It's not like King is asking for wound to be all respectful now. But some people are almost demanding it. Those two are not the same.

I always favor character loyalists, and Cowboy is one of the very few that stick with his character regardless of the situation, Shang Tsung in MK9, Sinestro in Injustice and now Shinnok even after he got nerfed.

This match was interesting because it was a character loyalist at heart vs a person who will switch characters without looking back. Loyalists for life.

Arrogant pricks pretend to make big bets in the fgc, where almost everyone is young and broke. If bill gates came along and wanted to bet take$ 5 million bucks, it wouldn't be cool or hype. It's just douchey.

The real blowup here is that people are still using the old name for the loser. He lost fair and square and is now Burger King for the rest of the year.

I wonder if one of the mods can temporarily change his name on TYM. Would be great to tag him and order a double whopper with fries in a MK forum.

It was a great show and one of the best things of the year for the viewers. As someone who has had the opportunity to play both of these players for hundreds of games... it is no surprise how close it would be.

Both of these players a great players. When you are at the highest level of something you HAVE to have a certain arrogance about you. They are competitors and will never allow themselves to think anyone is better. It is the mentality you have to have to be at this level. Given that... they clashed personalities and the result wsa one of the best high stakes sets I have ever seen. I wish, however, that it was a win by 2 rule.

King made the mistake of predicting scores. All that did was add unneeded pressure during an already high stress set. That very well may have been the difference.

"It is not about who is better. It is about who is better THAT day." -Any Given Sunday If these guys play 10 first to 10 sets, I bet it would be pretty equal. Thats what high level players do... they adapt.

Cowboy is a top 5 player in the scene and is injustice results do not reflect how good it was. Offline Cowboy was doing well and making top 8s but online nobody beat him consistently. Not sure if he gets tourney nerves but it looks like in MKX he has turned the corner a bit. I know king took that loss hard and he will only come back stronger. I would be extremely afraid if he was in your path at SCR.

Im glad Burger King lost. It is good for the scene whenever we get reminded that Yomi's top guys are mortal and can be beaten. Either way it was a phenomenal set, most likely the best in the history of this game thus far and I'm glad both players delivered in the gameplay department. Congratulations to Cowboy for taking it
