He is incredibly high risk/reward. I've been using the Metallic version and with the Lava stance restanding my opponent with DB1, and then just making good reads. Most people like to try and jump, so I NJP and hope for the best; that, or I use f1 because it's 7 frames and hope to catch them pressing buttons.
Can it be tech rolled?
I was trying this earlier in Metallic Lava stance and I was getting blown up by Kotal Kahn's overhead smash, either it's slower or I was making some horrible mistake.
The first string, 21d4u4, cannot be tech rolled with or without armor and d1 will still blow up EX slide. The second string with the NJP is still safe with tech roll and EX slide but you can't d1 through the armor. So yes it's safe. I've only tried it with reptiles slide and EX slide which is the fastest wakeup.
bad? no. top tier? no. he's too new to tell, but he definitely isnt insanely broken, or insanely bad i'll tell you that.
Gold skin specials are pretty good for zoning. He also has great range on some of his strings.
Restart MKX.

i feel metallic and crystalline are the best, and aftershock is gonna get normalized bc of babies crying from the jumping low quake
You're talking about Tremor, in MKX, on X1 and Ps4, right?
He's viable in all three.
I certainly don't have him figured out, but its clear that he has enough tools to be viable.
Well I've only played 30 matches with him but I won 23 of those.
Don't take this the wrong way but winning matches against online randoms really doesnt determine if a character is viable or not.
