Mortal Kombat X Patch Notes 6/23/15

With almost every character adjusted, Reptile will soon have company. In this game if everybody gets adjusted and your character stays in place it's as if he regressed. Sub so far got only nerfed which impacted negatively his clone plus last 2 patches Cryo and Unbreakable were completely ignored.

As long as there are future patches though there's still hope for all characters that are lacking; the number of which diminishes, which is good.

• Kano - Black Dragon Ball (enhanced) damage increased by 4
• Kano - Uprise Ball (enhanced) damage increased by 3 and is now -5 on block (down from -27)
• Kano (Commando) – Choke & Strangle are now -4 on block (down from -14)

• Shinnok - adjusted several hitboxes to hit more consistently
• Shinnok (Necromancer) - adjusted tracking of Devil's Flick, Devil's Backhand, Summoned Fiend, & Summoned Slam
• Shinnok (Necromancer) - increased damage on Judgment Fist & Judgment Smash by 3
• Shinnok (Necromancer) - Devil's Flick is no -8 on block (up from -4)
• Shinnok (Bone Shaper) - Dark Beam is now a high block and +8 on hit (up from -14)
• Shinnok (Bone Shaper) - opponent can no longer techroll after Scepter Slam
• Shinnok (Bone Shaper) - Deity combo (Towards + BP, BP, throw) can now be 2in1 cancelled on hit

yep, they made Cassie unstoppable with this patch now that she doesn't frametrap herself after landing a gunshot.

Can confirm Fisticuffs is now useless. You can back dash and armor out WAY easier. Glad I'm a Stunt Double main.

Yes, that string was what made special that variation. Now he has nothing but a too risky-low reward pressure. Hope nrs guys change their minds in the next patch. They have been too much severe with fisticuffs, which is now bottom tier for sure.

and before anyone mentions 50/50s, that shit is nowhere NEAR as obvious to a viewer who doesn't know the game

honestly it was going to be his worst variation long-term anyway, this just makes yall do what you should be doing now anyway

overall this looks like a heck of a job to me...raiden/dvorah/erron seem like they got nerfed the right amount relative to the other top characters, kano & ermac finally get noticed, etc. would still be a bit concerned about goro & ferra/torr + *maybe* reptile, more so than sub since he has a more solid base design.

It was now the worst variation indeed. But at least it had points where it shined, and was a different, more pressure oriented way to play Johnny. I think if someone thinks it was stupid, would be completely wrong. Speedbag had its risks too. Not as much as it has now, ok, but it had. Now against some characters it's almost a suicide to try to pressure with that string.

It's sad that nrs took too much into account comments of people who cried after seeing djt's performance.
That a player manages to use properly and efficiently a character doesn't mean the character needs a nerf.

Now, I suggest that you try not to be such an obsequious drone. Are you aware that Tom Brady is capable of speaking for and/or defending himself? I don't need his army of rabid dogs jumping down my throat every time they hear someone voice their opinion regarding their precious overlord.

Didn't accuse anyone (it's a fact), just seeing all subzero crying while the char is still better than 3/4 of the cast and very easy to play. Erron Black got nerf, he has gunslinger variation completly useless, and we are not making that much noise. It was a question. I imagin all sz players using Torr, that would be bad for their heart.

We have one variation that's better than 3/4 of the cast. Cryomancer is expensive and lacks meaninful tools and Unbreakable is officially both unviable and obsolete.

We were ignored. Completely. We're still stuck with 1/3 of a character who's mid tier At best with a tool that can be disrespected. We have 1/3 of a character with an inexplicably awful move with low utility, which is clearly either filler or unfinished. Lastly we have 1/3 of a character who has been both ignored and inadvertantly rendered obsolete.

Is Subby bottom 5? Of course not. But he needs attention or soon Unbreakable will be. People like you seem to get off on bashing the Sub community. Just because you don't care about the character doesn't mean anytime well reasoned points are aargued that we're suddenly scum of the earth.

actually there was a hidden Sub buff in this patch, there is slightly less damage scaling on SZ1's 1towards_2_2 kombo.
