Part of the reason this happens is that people from the EU spent 3 years telling the USA that the only reason people were able to beat you at EVO 2012 is that you fell and hit your head. That we just didn't know, and that whenever guys came back, we'd find out.
The stream chat was full of it, and it made its way to the forums as well. After Dizzy won Combo Breaker, it was said here that he wasn't playing the character at the highest level.

That means that people have been waiting 3 years to get proper credit for simply having good players, instead of being devalued due to injury excuse.
Then more recently, people had to hear that the US was 'defeated' at the fan exhibition due to the fan-picked favorites not being able to win. So that was adding insult to 'injury'
While it's highly unfortunate that you weren't in great shape at EVO, and I'm glad you made it through ok, 3 years is a long time to wait for validation. After hearing every reason in the book, it's fair that people should be able to throw at a bit of salt water back across the ocean now that we've seen the best players here are indeed as good as they claim to be.
At the end of the day, no one wants you to do badly -- but it's a competitive game and people will return competitive smack talk to others who talk smack on your behalf when given the chance.
Take it as a compliment mate, you beating them has obviously put a dent in their egos, whether they want to admit it or not.
