ya man, I played @Chaosphere at nwm, and althought I won in tourney went super even(maybe even in his favor I dont remember) raiden does what he wants if you slip up on your pressure due to having a 5f starter (motherfucker gets to start pressure on you if he blocks your f24 for free)

Indeed I did. That match was the final nail in the coffin where I was like "Ok im switching to A List for sure now" lol I was the guy who was asking you some questions about the special move cancelling and such.

yessir, but its trickier to do with shadowkick than with f34 and 121. It still works but timing is abit different and I didnt practice it for nwm just because I didnt wanna try anything I wasnt 100% comfortable with doing in tournament (my bnb is usually f24 12 rc 12 but I opted for f24 d1 f3 just because its much easier to do)
You guys talk about his rushdown but nobody talks about his zoning and his ability to shut down zoning! His fireball has crazy recovery(its able to outzone a good portion of the cast) and his ex shadow kick is safe on block so Its a really good tool for getting in and getting his offense started. Hes top in my opinion because he has the tools to deal with everyone and because his offense is so good you dont ever have trouble shutting people down once you get in (quan chi is a good example, you win mid screen and upclose, full screen quan wins but hes so slow and has no armor that once you get in his face hes done)
I kinda love the matchup, using the fireballs like that makes me really have hope for this game. It's tons of fun
