What else does it change? Do motions get stricter? Does it disable throwing with 1+3? <-I like to throw with 1+3 (similar to recent sf games).

EDIT: Also, it seems that after the patch on PC my game always crashes when I go into controller settings. It never happened to me before.

It just removes 1+2 equaling interactable. Throw still stays as 1+3. In terms of motions I have not noticed anything, but my execution is pretty locked in based on decades of playing fighting games.

Yeah the same thing happened to me, and it is not just the samurai pack that causes it, google MKX error. I deleted and re installed the game three times, switched out hard drives, and almost bought a hard copy, but Gamestop was closed. I read online a lot of people are having this problem; digital and hard copies. I do have a solution. Before you start the application, go to settings, network and sign offline; then go in the application and get to the menu screen and sign back online and it should work. It worked for me and some other people I know, I dealt with trying to fix that mess for over twenty hours. Hope this helps. I feel like this should be front page, because so many people are having the problem and it would save them a ton of headaches. Over!

Alright. Tried to go check if it matters to me execution wise. Hopefully they fix that bug that crashes the game when you go into controller settings.

Just posted in the Kenshi board, but reflecting a projectile seems to give you the same brutality for that character. I was playing KOTH online and reflected a Mournful Kitana's projectile and got a brutality. I haven't been able to find any videos of Kitana to see if it is a MK9 style glitch, but apparently her "All is On" brutality description is exactly what Kenshi did. Haven't been able to test other character's projectiles yet.

Don't know if this is a bug or not. When I do Jacqui's 1212, I sometimes end up doing an interactable instead. Is there a way to fix this? I think the game thinks I'm pressing 1+2 together. Is there a controller option somewhere?

Turn off easy inputs in the controller preset setting. It gets rid of the 1+2 equals interactable command.

So I was just playing some ranked matches and after I finished the match I was playing I went to edit my kombat kard and then I got booted back to the PS4 menu. I can't remember the exact error code but it was something like CE- numbers numbers.

So now I start up MKX again and it said something like player data corrupted...ALL of my progress is gone. I am back to level 1, had to rejoin a faction etc. all my krypt stuff is back to square one.

What do I do now? I've tweeted to NRS and ed boon on twitter but I doubt I'll even get a response.

This used to happen on the ps4 version of injustice as well, there is simply nothing you can do about it unless you have backed up your save data. Check in your online storage if you have any backups for mkx, if not you're out of luck.

Yes this happened on my PS4...so I am F**ed? Awesome NRS simply awesome. You know just as I was getting more and more into the game again. Honestly just don't wanna play anymore not to sound like a whiny shit but where's the point of playing and progressing if at any point I could lose it again and have to start over? fuck man

Yes, unless you have an online save backup like I said. You will be fine next time if you just remember to back up your save data, as you don't lose anything if you backup then download it to system storage if it crashes again.

Wow this is just...I don't know if I even wanna start over honestly. All those hours for nothing lmao great stuff NRS great fucking stuff.
Anyways thanks for the help and advice...I should safe my shit I guess but imo the game just shouldn't delete my progress out of the blue -.-

Ok so I just checked the PS+ online storage and there is no save data. But there is still player settings etc. ony my PS4. This may be a long shot but I'll just save all of my MKX files to the cloud storage now, restart the system and see if it miraculously fixes itself. I have nothing to lose so yeah gonna give it a shot

Happened to me as well. I deleted the game and am currently re-installing it...
All recommended suggestions did not work.

NRS games seem to have these retarded issues that other games don't. They range from failure to load the menu to unusual save data/updating stuff. In fact my online storage is full and for new games it will say something like "X game online storage cannot upload". For MKX it will do that repeatedly until I go into notifications and actually click on one of the MKX ones.

@Magnum Magpie I'm not sure, but I can say with confidence that my save data for every other game I've played on my ps4 hasn't disappeared. My MKX data is still working fine too though.

I doubt it. I never had any problems like this ever. not on ps3 and not on ps4. MKX just seems like the typical half cooked bullshit we've been getting from NRS from horrible netcode to just straight up not working at all (looking at PC version etc.)

Geez, I'd be pissed off by this too.
I grinded out all the factions, got about 50% of the krypt unlocked, and only missing about 5 skins or so.

Don't know if i'd continue to play if this happened to me.
I'd contact NRS and see if they can help you out.
I know this happened to someone before, they contacted NRS and they were given a PSN code for the krypt unlock pack.

I remember exactly this happening with my copy of MK9. What was especially hilarious was that even after deleting the corrupted data, it wouldn't let me create a new save file for the game so I could claw my stuff back. :D

Have been have issues try to watch replay data on the PS4 Version of MKX. It will start playing for one second and then say, this replay data is incompatible due to an older version.

Update: Now I'm getting an error during playback of a recent match saying Playback does not agree.

Tried what I just posted about...did not work.
Let's hope NRS can help me out, otherwise I think I'm kinda done with this game.
