MK 10 or Injustice 2

So after reading the LBSH Injustice X MK thread I've noticed a definite split in the community as to which game they would like to see be announced.

Just curious as to which game everyone is hoping for and why.

Personally I'm hoping for MK 9 1/2. Boon is notorious for changing game play from game to game but I really feel that MK9 was a good game and if improved upon would be a great game. I also feel like Injustice is waaaaaay to young to have a sequel.

I personally like Injustice more than any MK, but I want MKX. Injustice is too early in its life to have a sequel.

MK10, duh. Injustice still has time to get fully fleshed out. I doubt everything has been figured out for the game.

Besides, I want another fighting game with gratuitous violence. I hope it's even more over-the-top this time than it was in MK9.

I want Noob Saibot's "Make a Wish" fatality to the 10th power.

I actually like Injustice more than MK9, but like some others said... It's too early in the games life for a sequel. I also have a feeling that MK10 will be Next Gen only. Probably wont come out until the middle of next year, so that gives me time to save. Either way I'm not 100% sold on MK10 just yet.

I actually ended up liking Injustice contrary to my original thoughts of the game and i'd like to see it live on for a little bit longer, but i'd really like to play a fresh MK now, maybe not completely the same from MK9 but not too far from its final build.

Injustice 2, this might be my favorite fighting game even though theres a ton of bullshit in it its a great game and if proper improvements are made it can be one of the best ever.
MK10 would be nice too but please (based) GOD dont let there be mk v dc 2 id shit tears

MK10, Injustice can potentially live on even after an MK10 release given that it's a better game and more balanced than MK9. Not to mention I like the idea of our community supporting two games, pipe dream probably but whatever. Also, it feels way too short for an Inj2 as they could've had more DLC instead of a new 60 dollar release.

Injustice is a little over a YEAR old, and was basically just restarted as a new game last fall so unless you hate Inj and want the game to die there isn't a real need for a sequel so soon. Also, I don't see how a future sequel to MK should have any effect on the life of injustice. Their two separate FG series not sequels to each other, mk10 won't kill the life of Injustice.

I remember Mr. Boon tweeting something along the lines of: "Don't you guys want to wait until 2017 for a true next-gen MK?"

I think MK10 would be a much better game if it was developed exclusively on the power of the current generation consoles (PS4, X1). It wouldn't be smart to do that for 2015, because there would still be plenty of casuals on the last generation (Xbox 360, PS3), but there would still be those transitioning into the current generation. WB could maximize profits by having MK10 developed for both the current and last-gen consoles, but us MK fans would not be satisfied on the current generation, for the game would have to be able to still run on the last-gen consoles. (You might as well make a whole new game if you're going to take full advantage of the power of the current-gen.)

What better game to start the transition, being on both last-gen and current-gen, than MK x DC?

In regards to the OP, I think it's MK 10 just based on the timeline.

April 2011: Mortal Kombat
April 2013: Injustice
April 2015: Mortal Kombat 2(?)
