how's the matchup vs shazam, can't seem to pressure him and im having difficulty hitting him with venom eb when he teles on reaction, how can i beat his jumpin kick?

If you're talking about his jump-in kick after he knocks you down, your best bet is just to block it. It seems to stuff most of Doomsday's wakeups if they're not timed correctly.

Also, pressuring Shazam is easy as balls once you get him in the corner. Just reverse his wakeups in the corner if he tries to teleport out. He'll just wind up teleporting himself backwards (so he stays in the corner) and he's left wide open for whatever you feel like punishing him with.

Outside of the corner, however, you just have to pay attention to the person's habits and react accordingly.

Corner reversal is risky. Because all the Shazam has to do if he see a dash is a atlas torpedo and he'll escape. Best thing to do is walk back slightly and punish whatever wakeup he does.

thanks for all the tips @Eldriken, ill def try it out, does b2 up knee also switch sides in the corner? @Tm_whiteboi, im doing the same thing but he can just wu with herc's might and im donee, :( i tried baiting him sometimes with njp thats if he doesnt tele

walk back and crouch. The atlas torpedo you can either d1 him if you the startup or just hold back once you see it.

What are you guys doin against flash?
The fucker just walks back after a mb shoulder and gets out of earth shaker and punishes for 50%. Catwomen..same problem.

You don't ALWAYS have to be on the offense and rushing them down. I play very defensively when I have to and it really throws people off because they're so accustomed to me trying to get in their face and staying there. Make them come to you and the tides will certainly change provided you're good at blocking/reacting.

Thats working until they read that. Smart players know i have to do that and blow up my dash on reaction. Anything else?
What I do when they start reading the dash is either 1. Jid3 2. Don't do anything and see want the opponent does. If he tries to punish the dash but it will than whiff and I would punish. tbh tho I been playing alot of Lobo when I play above average player's online, cause he's my main but when I play your "Run of the Mill" online player, I play DS or Doomsday. Cause the majority of online players don't know how to block. lol

^^^^^^THIS! It works too. lol I think I've beaten @Eldriken s Doomsday once outta like 30 or so games lol.

Lol if you like that 16bit rages at doomsday. He's so simple and OP. He is braindead and you don't need to learn matchups.
I have to disagree with you on that last bit. MU knowledge is required if you're playing above a certain level. Sure, MB Venom and ES can carry you for quite a while, but when you face people who know how to defend against it, you can't rely on it forever.

But this is my opinion. I'm not trying to say you're wrong. To each their own. =)

If there wasnt character specific push block, i believe DD would be in the top 10 discussion. 16 bit shoudnt mind DD at all. All he has to do is walk back and es cant touch him

Yeah, until she gets put in the corner. Catwoman can't do anything once she's there. Not unless she has trait, that is. ES stuffs her wake ups if timed properly.

Hey by the way im using strings like 1,1,2 after mb shoulder against flash and they seem to connect more to where you can sneak an ES in. Changes the matchup alot. Lets you keep pressure
