How did you get your nickname?

Mr. Rager

Mr. IhaveacrushonBi-Han
Huge Kid Cudi fan, and I hate losing, Pretty much explains mine. Someone said I was "Raging" after facing 20+ Kung laos at a qualifier in Atlanta, and developed the term "Rage Mode." Also go by Mr. Salty lol or Mr. HxC. I don't handle my anger/salt poisoning well -.-

SZSR

In Armageddon my favorite characters were Sub-Zero, my KAK Human Smoke and Rain, Sub-Zero because he's a badass, Smoke because he was mysterious and brooding in MKSM and Rain because once I picked him up in Armageddon I was undefeatable. I played MKP (Mugen of Trilogy with more characters) and found I liked them in the 2D world too. So I just put them together when I wanted to make my Youtube account. And then when it came to forums, most of the time the "n" would be cut off from Rain so for the MK forums I stick with just Rai at the end. I wish it were more clever, but yeah that's it.

Slego was a hick term for Sledgehammer I heard from my brother years ago. I raided with a toon named Slego in WoW for a few years and have kind of been Slego ever since.

Everybody wants the best loot in MMOs, when I played WoW I had a toon named Loot, etc.
Three ex-WoW players in one thread XD. What faction/class/server did you guys play on ? Tauren Shaman on Kalecgos in Classic and BC, then Orc Lock in BC then Human Lock on a bunch of different servers in WoTLK and Cata before I quit.

MKF30

From my obsession and loyalty with/to MK lol and my favorite lucky number, I wear it on my baseball jerseys, fav number and day of birth.

MKF30=Mortal Kombat Fanatic 30

CitizenSnips

A seldom used crab named Lucky. AKA Citizen Snips.
Me and my brother used to watch Futurama every night. So it was kind of an inside joke because for whatever reason after we saw that episode we Youtubed the CITIZEN SNIIIIIPS part over and over.

CITIZEN SNIIIIIIIIIIIIPS

CaliJokerstyle

Dies A Lot
Back in 97 when i started playing online, The Joker was my favorite comic book character (still is). Joker was to obvious and i just like his crazy style so i put it together as Jokerstyle. I added Cali due to a lot of people using the name Jokerstyle. I'm not sure if im the first but i would surprised if im not. So now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

TeaBag

Jack Daniel's Supporter
Before settling for fighting games, I used to be all about fps. Halo 2 was a huge one for me, and my whole gameplay revolved around 1 thing and 1 thing only - TEABAGGING. Even if I would die because of it, the way people would react and rage made it all worth it. Xbox wouldnt allow any names with the word teabag in it so I created the name TeaInABag. After mkvsdc and sf hd remix came out, I dropped fps games for the most part. Xbox eventually caught on and banned that name, which had already stuck onto my fighting game friends and I just decided to keep it. Even to this day in MK, I enjoy some teabagging here and there when the "finish him/her" screen comes up. It guarantees my opponent will want a rematch 95% of the time.

TrickyNick

Weather Man
My name comes from when I was a kid. My dad and brother are huge pool sharks. Ive lived with a pool table my whole life we played everyday and eventually I got really good finally able to beat them. As I got older and graduated high school I decided one day im going to open up a Bar called "Tricky Nicks". The slogan was going to be "Play some pool then pull up a stool". Even my high school ring had a pool rack engraved into it lol. Still to this day I love pool.

Sasuga

Noob
My TYM name means "as expected" of "smart, clever" in japanese. For a long time I watched a lot of Anime and I also study Japanese and that's probably why I really came to like that word. Then I used it signing up somewhere and now it's my default i-net nick.

When signing up for PSN, Sasuga was already taken. I then chose Kizuku-Kikai which means someting like "consious machine". I got that from Ghost in the Shell. I wish I could change that though.

RoGE

Noob
Roger is my original name. I got the nick name from school when we were putting are names on the board, I put "Roge" it was intended to be pronounced "Rodge" but my teacher pronounced it "roagie" like hoagie but with a "R". My friends liked it and made it my nick name. Roge can be pronounced in a ton of ways, which is one of the reasons why I like it. Rogue, Rodge, Roagie etc.

Old names:
Iori9 - I liked using iori in Kof obviously lol (Note: I suck at KoF)
Lori9- The MKO/ UMK.com font made the I in my name look look a lower case "L" so people thought I was "Lori9" for a while and also thought I was a chick.. <LOL

I was honestly tempted to go on a mic in one of the rooms in MKA and say with my deep ass voice "Hey, this is Lori I'm that chick from MKO"

D_W

The Could-Have-Been King
My name is just my first and middle initials. Nothing to fancy there. Though I used to go by "Sprinkle" in a certain circle of friends. Maybe I should have gone with that. There's no interesting story behind it unfortunately.

Blackwing Lair Horde

Rolled Orc Warrior, Belf Pally, and Orc DK.

And to further elaborate on Loot, I was one of the most infamous trolls on BWL. I was pretty much THE shit talker of the server, but I backed it up as I was in one of the top guilds (on server and 500 ins US), constantly trolling trade with "I'm leaving town soon, last person to link [Magic Rooster Egg] gets it!". Worked every time, trade chat would get destroyed and I'd have GMs constantly warning me to stop. During ICC me and the other guildies had macros bound to saying "CONQUEST HAS ENORMOUS DUCKS" followed by an ASCII dick. When pugging raids I'd kick people that didn't have Glory of the X Raider achievements just to one up all the douchers that liked to use the "LFM X Raid, must link X Raid achievement!"

After all these shenanigans of mine (which peaked at when I faction xfer'd ally and started camping shitties form other guilds before going back to Horde) people started referring to me as Tool (which is Loot backwards), so that was even more of a reason to keep Loot as my name.

Prior to Loot I used knox as I was born in Knoxville.

Mine is an old tag I resurrected from years ago when I started HS (when you had to listen to anoying sounds before getting on the inet). Its a combination of my name and love of Star Trek.

I'm an exclusively horde player on Proudmoore. Tauren is my favorite race, got my priest, bigmiracle, to 85, and have a shitload of high level alts. Never got into raiding or arena, but did get into twinking level 70. I was an altaholic, leveled through bgs with bis gear, but recently quit because Cata sucks and Blizzard knows it.

SlickDicMagnum

Mustacheality!
I have been using Ric Magnum (video game handle) since 1997. I use it for every game and any create-a-character that I make in games. Back in 1997 WWF Warzone came out for PS1. I was creating a character and could not think of a cool name for said character. I stumbled across an old Magnum P.I. poster with Tom Selleck on it. And it hit me: Magnum is a fucking awesome word and would be an even more awesome last name for a character. It's not a word easily forgotten. Then I had to come up with a first name. I settled on Ric just because it seemed to go with Magnum fairly well. Plus, I could switch it to Dic if I wanted too (which I often times do), which brings up all kinds of uncomfortable sexual conotations lol. So it was done. The name was created and fit well with the image of my create a character on WWF Warzone. After that it just stuck. I used the handle in every game. It is a memorable name and has withstood the test of time lol. Ric Magnum, Dic Magnum, SlickDicMagnum and Richard M. Magnum have all been used as my video game aliases and will continue to be used until I die.
