The only issue I've seen with it is GL's air fireball. Maybe I need to play the MU more, but the only GL we have here is Tommy and he never comes to GGA.
How exactly would Batman outzone GL?

Straight missiles do more than Batarangs, Straight Missle MB does more than the MB of Batarangs too.

Rocket Power (The one that flies from above his head) wins that trade heavily too (it does 10%)

You make some good points actually. How fast does OR recover?
 
Tbh I barely got the Ultimate Edition couple weeks ago so Im barely settling in since MK9 which I still play, yeah its a good chart. I see that Batman is the Scorpion on MK due to his combos are similar.
Uhhh, no. Batman is far away from MK9 Scorp's 50/50 high risk high reward gameplay - it's better to think of him as the Ryu of the game (goes even with most of the cast):
  • He has good to great normals (though no range in some of them),
  • One of the top 3 traits in the game that helps his neutral game/combos/defense/offense/zoning/every fucking thing,
  • He's one of the most all-rounded character in the game that can deal with 90% of the cast
  • His pressure/frame trap/block stun shenanigans is one of the best in the game
  • Good movements all around
  • His only weakness is wake-up options, but even then it's still better than AM's (now that's a lol wake up)
Scorpion in this game is a pretty good emulation of MK9 Scorp - at times very YOLO although his reward might not be as big as he gets in MK9. All of his moves are very high risk as expected tho.

I guess so heheh, yeah Scorpion in Injustice has lil bit better recovery frames than the Scorpion in MK9. His teleport punch seems faster too.

Sticking with the Catwoman match-up, I played the match-up offline for the first time, and if you've been into the lab and practiced stuffing her wake-ups...she CANNOT GET UP. EVER. Okay, not ever. She can use her trait on wake-up, but that's it. Obviously stuffing wake-ups is universal and she has that problem in every match-up, but I'm simply speaking from a Batman main perspective. Thanks to GGA 16 Bit for pointing this out.

The best thing is, it's not even that hard. I literally practiced doing it for 10 minutes in the lab the other day, and I'm already doing it semi consistently. It's all about timing. B23 is the easiest thing to stuff her wake-ups with, but you should practice doing it with B1. If the Catwoman player decides to wake-up, he's launched for a full combo (b113).

Dude...I read this forum and I have guys telling me how great her wakeups are and that I'm downplaying them. "show me footage of anyone reliably stuffing them". Then I'm told ok fine just use trait...while different guys are telling me I need to do max damage trait combos. :(

For real though, the no wake-up thing seems like a deal breaker to me. I don't care about match-up numbers per se, but for Batman, this is a big deal against her, and probably sways the match in his favor (as recently as a few days ago, I would have said it's even). You can just pressure her on wake-up without giving any fucks. And again, this cannot be stressed enough, it is REALLY easy to stuff her wake-ups. It really takes a little bit of practice only. I think this will only get worse for her with time as people start abusing it more. For example, how the hell do you fight Bane?

I forgot to try the cat claws wake up. Why are u still awake? I took your advice and I'm practicing my combos offline LOL
Oh and btw I just watched GGA 16 Bit vs PL. I had a mini heart attack! With all due respect but PL sucks on so many levels and I still think Bit is fucking awesome. I swear that coolwhip's Batman can kick PL's ass in a mirror. And Bit you should make more use of those interactables and backgrounds around you in the stages. Like your match against glass sword, you did a j3 after a b3 while you could've f3 f2 BGB instead. But you owned it anyway so doesn't really matter.

Oh and btw I just watched GGA 16 Bit vs PL. I had a mini heart attack! With all due respect but PL sucks on so many levels and I still think Bit is fucking awesome. I swear that coolwhip's Batman can kick PL's ass in a mirror. And Bit you should make more use of those interactables and backgrounds around you in the stages. Like your match against glass sword, you did a j3 after a b3 while you could've f3 f2 BBG instead. But you owned it anyway so doesn't really matter.

Yea I wouldn't be so sure if he'd body you. At least not from what I've seen. His DD is good just not his BM.

I don't know about one losing MU...doesn't MMH do better than 5-5?

I will agree with Zod being 5-5, I always feel super-nervous popping trait against Bats.

I used to feel like MMH beats Batman but you just have to get used to the character. Batman definitely has the tools to deal with MMH and you just have to try to stay on his ass on and not let his zoning start. It just sucks that Batman has no range on his normals so he can't really do anything about a blocked overhead teleport and MMH outfootsies him with trait
