About that command throw - it has a similar animation to his overhead lunge. The overhead must be blocked high, and the command throw must be ducked (since it's an unblockable high). This means that your opponent can't just react to that overhead animation by standing up. He also has to guess which one's coming. In terms of gameplay, I'm not sure what I like the most about him. I like that anti-air bone spike move, and I also like the fact that Baraka has a lunging command throw. How to properly use these is something that remains to be seen. But, based on his Flag variation and how his crushing blows work, he seems to be a bait and punish style character.
I'm just glad he's back.
That was my first thought as well, which is odd considering how much detail there seems to be everywhere else in the game. But his current one doesn't make much sense... he just kinda sharpens his blades down towards the ground and then a spark shoots out in a forward motion... The motion doesn't correlate with the projectile itself, which I think looks kinda silly.
The idea with the flag is great in general.
Exactly.....why isn't anybody esoe talking about thisI just love how happy he gets when he picks up his flag.
I just want to make sure I fully understand the difference.I think most of Baraka's CBs are from punishes, at least his head smash was and I think gutted as well. Most of Scorps were from counter hits.
He makes a killer smoothie using Kale, Bananas and the Brains of fallen foes.I wish he was my personal trainer.
good point, he uses his mind which is i totally like and the other side he has a personality. he was just a dumbass mindless character in MK9 story.I also like how he now has some respect with the interactions with the other characters.
