Hey Jynks,
appreciate the concern, but no worries this will not kill my motivation at all. I'm a private person, who's not perfect. Mistakes happen, but in this case the scenario is a bit more complicated than this & it was a mistake on my end to just throw a short tweet out like that, without giving proper context. I just didnt expect it to blow up like that. First of all in my events for more than 3 years anything which could be "bug-abuse" or an "infinite" is banned. I as the organizer have the final call what I think is right for MY events. I made the decision to ban this with the community and with like 10 pro players who were watching this live. I told everyone during the show that i honestly don't know if it's the right call. The player VAL reached out to me 4 weeks ago, saying that he found this combo with sindel, which he can endlessly loop with jax. There seems to be a way that you can extend the combo even more, so that the kameo recharges while doing it, which would turn it into a TOD if opponent doesnt have breaker. He then told me that the way Sindel is designed in MK1 it's super easy to confirm this ( even tho the Link itself is super tight ), but he could pull it off pretty consistently. At the same time the player told me that he doesn't know if theres any counterplay to it. So my ruling 4 weeks before this tournament was: "If this turns out to be an exploit/infinite/tod I PERSONALLY will not allow this in my events. So now 4 weeks after he used this exact thing in our tournament and the community reached out to me, explaining why this should not be tournament legal. Even Dragon, who was literally working for NRS told me that this would've been banned in the pro tour aswell, because it is a Bug in the game. Unfortunately I cannot explain it like Dragon did, but he said that specificially with Sindel and her being +22 should not lead to a nonscaling comboreset,, which is loopable. Generally speaking I still don't know if the decision was the right one, we gotta wait for NRS feedback. What I can say for sure is, that I will definetly learn from this.
