How come the combo drops at "j2, b2~up haven blast" ? Is this supposed to be a reset cause I can't get it to combo?!
You have to wait to do the b2~up haven blast until the j2 actually hits. Make sure you don't dial it in too early. There's a video near the top of page 3 in this thread that shows it. Hope that helps.
 
Hey guys idk if you all have noticed this but the b2 to df2 whiffs on Killer Frost, I havent tested it out on other characters yet but I've been messing around with a 1,1,3 starter after I land a freeze arrow in the corner. I only find myself opening people up with freeze arrow then going for a follow up rather than doing it mid combo. Any other suggestions on what to start the combo with aside from 1,1,3?
 
Tbh, I usually just go for a 22 D4 B3 j2 33db4. That was I have an ice arrow and I dash in and can go for a crossup. Real good to always have an ice arrow.

Nice catch about Killer Frost. B2~df2 also doesn't work on Catwoman, Raven or Hawkgirl. Here's the best replacement combo I could find...
b23~low freeze, j2, f2d13, 111~sky alert, 111~load arrow = 42%/45%
b23~low freeze, j2, f2d13, 111~sky alert, 111~hurricane bow = 44%/47%

The best follow up to a raw freeze in the corner is the normal b2~df2 combo (or f2d13 against these tiny hitbox characters).

Quick question....why is load arrow in there? after hurricane bow.....i've always been able to load whatever i want, fire, ice or electric. Plus, it makes space....which i found GA to be the best at mid range. Allows for reads with db2 and over head arrows.

I'm pretty sure you can be punished by wakeups for loading an arrow after hurricane bow or slide. And loading the arrow earlier gives you more time for better set ups.

I'm yet to be punished for it. Maybe a full screen wake up.....but i'm not sure how they can't just tech roll out of an arrow loading ending...or punish it on wake up either. I know u can punish the slide hard...but ex slide is pretty safe. I'll have to test that out....cause i guess i never really had a problem doing it and being punished.

I'm not sure what you're doing exactly. I just tried it though and loading an arrow after a slide or hurricane bow gets punished hard. They don't even have to wake up, there's enough time for them to stand up and full combo punish. Not sure what you mean about full screen wake ups since this was a corner combo, so you won't be full screen. But even doing this after midscreen combos leaves you at huge disadvantage and can be stuffed by certain wake ups. Basically if you need to load an arrow it's a lot better to cut the combo short :p

I don't really have a trick to it. If the j2 doesn't come out at all you might be doing it too early. The timing gave me problems for a while too, but eventually it starts to be second nature. Sorry that's the best advice I've got.

Like Seapeople said it's all practice, but perhaps these little things might help you: I always hold jump after inputing 113 so I don't have to worry about that. When the opponent spins in the air, watch out for his feet turning towards you, as you want to hit them.

Midscreen you can get low fire arrow, d1~hurricane bow = 15-19% depending on how many hits of the hurricane bow connect.
I also found out you can load an ice arrow after b3 hits and still have time to follow up with d1~freeze. So far this doesn't seem useful but I'm working on it lol.

Ur definitely right....corner wise u'll get punished i was wrong. At mid screen it depends on the wake ups of ur opponents. Now i gotta make sure i stop doing that shiznit before everyone else catches on. lol

I was reallyyy hoping this would work too, but when the second freeze hits it causes a knockdown instead of refreezing them :/

cool but what do you normally go for ?
A basic bnb is f2d13, 111~slide = 26%/30%
I would try to organize everything, but there's sooo much situational stuff to cover. I've helped with that kind of thing in a few character forums before and it can get pretty tedious. I'll keep adding stuff though :)

113 always wiffs online, just replace it with F2D13 whenever possible
Does anyone know why it doesn't work? Hopefully NRS will fix it if it's a glitch because the best combos start with 113

Also after blablabla into ice arrow > b3 > j3 > what are the best followups?
I know I can do 33 into load
but what are the most damaging options into slide and hurricane bow?
I do b2 into hurricane bow and 33 into slide are there better options?

Man awesome combo is that b.3 into d2 load d1 ice arrow? Ridiculous.
Correct, but it's worth noting that you need to do b3, dash, d2 xx qcf+trait (Opponent crosses up in the air so to load ice you need to reverse the input) This only happens when you connect the b3 pretty close to the opponent though.
