For the EX DD 4 if your opponent did a delay rise would they still take damage? I can't find a way to test this in the training room.

OK I've put together a combo guide. This is my first ever YouTube video so please let me know what you think in the comments.

On a separate note here is an aftershock combo I like.

DD3, DB3. jiP, 21D3xxDB2D, B21xxDB2U, rc, throw

Ex-dd4 will otg. Which means as long as they are even touching the ground they take damage even if they are knocked down in any way.

If you DO want to test things like delayed wake-ups in training.

Record the combo you want to do with Tremor (for example) and end with the ex-dd4. Then play as the guy getting beat and try different wake up options to see how to blow it up. This is a good way to see what characters can do what against you on the ground instead of constantly switching the dummy settings.

For the 12D3 section

12d3, NjP, f3, b2xx db2 26%

I'm also trying to work on a new one but could use some help

Here is what I got so far

B32xxDB2D,B2xxDB2U,walk forward,21D4U4 29%

Can someone with faster fingers than me try to get this to work into a DB2 or DB1? I'll attempt again tomorrow but need a break from this one and not sure if I would ever actually use it online.

Also for Crystalline here is a really important one that I use every match

Wake-up > EX DB2D, NjP, F3, B2 xx DB2 33%

or

Wake-up > EX DB2D, NjP, 21xxDB2 30%

That is a great idea. I'm always looking for creative new ways to test stuff in the training room. Thanks for the suggestion!

In Lava Stance (I'm definitely championing Metallic for a while), I've been using the standing reset which puts you at +29 off of db1, which I think should be happening as often as possible and a large reason to use lava (I switch back and forth between lava and gold depending on situation). I've been trying to use hit comfirmable safe strings only because otherwise we're just masturbatorily adding inane %ages. I've been leaning a lot towards f12 because it's easily hit confirmable, leads to good damage, is safe on it's own, and his fastest combo starter string.
f12 db2u, njp, b2 db2u, f121 db1 (standing reset) for 31% meterless
b1d4 converts similarly for 32% with a low as the 2nd hit of the string, and if you don't hit confirm b1d4u4 is safe at -5 I believe.

In gold, so I assume in everything that's not lava, I've been sacrificing damage for set-ups and corner carry using
f12 db2d, b2 db2d, f121 db3 for 25% plus the top down rocks on wake-up. This will carry to the corner from midscreen.

I've been trying to play gold skin as a corner carryer/pushback/zoner and lava skin hit confirms into standing reset, like venemous D'Vorah (my main). In general, I find the lava restands hella unexplored as I've been perusing these forums. I think there's a lot more stuff there - this was only like 2h in lab.

it's not that it hasn't been explored, people have found 35% restands with no bar and even more in the corner, i just don't know the combos, so i cant post them :p

Looking for two things highest damage (universal) off standing 2 anti-air and highest damage off air earth shake close and far (aftershock) haven't broken past the 30% mark from either and wondering if it's possible

If the combo starts from midscreen (universal), and carries to the corner by the last 2 hits, you can do
21d4~db2d, b2~db2u, run jp, b2~db2u, 123~db3 (or dd1 for crystaline set up) for the free set up for around 33%. Btw, the set up is only unsafe if they roll into armored wake up.
If the combo doesn't reach the corner in time, I'll go
21d4~db2d, b2~db2u, run jp, b2~db2
and then switch to lava stance, falling rock or exdd4 off of the hard knockdown for 31%(or 44%)

@YGDWaffles this thread was on its way to becoming the mess the old one was so i did some edits.
the dark blue text was near impossible to read against the sites backround
if you want to put that many videos in a OP, use a spoiler tag

PS. i dont know what gta characters have to do with mk/tremor so edited thread title aswell
PS2. just so im not coming off all negative THANK YOU for not having jip starter combos listed in the OP

OK here is a video of a cool corner mix up you can do on your opponent. It works into a 37% corner combo but requires some set up.
Set Up: 21d4u4 xx db3
On wake up go into this as the rock is falling

b32xxdb2d,f3 xx db3u, NjP, throw

This isn't optimized yet but have fun

Here is a video to show you what I'm talking about:

Sorry about all that. This was my first post so i wasn't exactly sure about what it should look like. From now on, I'll keep the thread in this format with these colors and spoilers. Thanks :p

ps: the difference between tremor and trevor is one letter, just a little joke that i've seen a bunch of streamers say lol. The new title is more formal now so thumbs up!

So I found a no gimmick 40% universal corner combo, it's kinda tough though, and ideally you would lose a few % unless you actually wanted to uppercut them out of the corner, haha.

Still, I think it's the highest overall combo path that I've seen so far:

F4 is 9% damage with the lowest possible scaling, and 12D3 launches if they're juggled heavy enough. We should all mess with both of those options.

The f12 starter is the lowest damage starter. Can you get more percentage by switching that to b32?

I'm trying to optimize a meterless njp starter combo in the corner and can't seem to get over 27%. Anyone tried this?

I'll live a villain, before I die a hero.
So I cant seem to get njp to connect after db2u any tips? Also, which one is better Crystalline or Aftershock?

You can't get an njp unless you are using lava stance, unless you give up a lot of damage. Except with 12d3. Or if you are in the corner.

I think aftershock has a great tool with air dd1, but crystalline has a lot of potential to crest openings by intentionally taking the last hit of a block string when you have armor on. That takes a lot of homework though. Aside from that, his only difference is the exdb1d that launches - nice mixup from db2d but I'm not sure that's worth the trade off of jump in mind games with aftershock.

Metallic is lame.
