With MKX's release this week, a lot of scenes are rallying their troops in order to add numbers to their locals or bring together old friends. One of those scenes is based around Las Vegas -- and at long last, the Nevada scene has come out of relative seclusion to broadcast their weeklies to the world.
This week marks the first edition of the Sin City Showdown to feature Mortal Kombat X -- and should provide a good glimpse of players like brothers Malik and Denzell Terry as they begin their quest for a new string of tournament placings.
Malik (MIT) describes the gathering here:
"I will keep this as simple as possible, for those of you who don't know, the vegas scene is on the rise and we have a legit group of players. We have been streaming mk9 tournaments for like 2 months straight every saturday to get people to join our scene and etc. Fast forward to today, we are doing our first local today and we want as many people viewing as possible as we want to give you guys a great show. So without further delay, GET HYPE!!!!!!!!!"
