Hey guys! I recently managed to catch up with Greece's very own EG|Nivek to go over what's possible with the latest version of Raiden in Mortal Kombat X.

The video covers what changed about him in the recent balance patch, what has been adjusted and what appears to have been altered in terms of hitboxes and combo potential.

Raiden is a character that was insane early on, but through the global changes to the game, he got hit a little hard. I have faith in Paulo's vision and that Raiden will get what is coming to him next patch.

I feel that Thunder God specifically got over-nerfed. His lightning string damage combined with option select 50/50s was too much. Now that the OS 50/50s are gone, his string damage should be reinstated.

Raiden is a scary character to buff; if you buff the wrong things, he's back to release stage, if you buff the wrong thing, he's Kenshi status.
