Bows don't kill people, the arrows do.
This is Reptile's second Fatality.
As we all know (don't we?), Predator is confirmed MKX DLC. Along with him comes 3 character skins.
It can be assumed that since one of them is Carl Weathers as Jax (Carl Weathers playing Dillon in Predator), Johnny Cage's Commando skin will be based off of Arnold Schwarzenegger (Arnold playing the lead role in both the movie entitled Commando and Predator).
This all becomes relevant when remembering the death scene of another character famously played by Arnold in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
You may notice that the last part of the Terminator to become submerged (or melt) is the hand, extended upward. He gives a thumbs up. You may notice a slight similarity in the ending of Reptile's fatality, in which their hand is the only thing left unmelted.
I believe that Johnny Cage, in his Commando skin, (which can be assumed to be based off of Arnold Schwarzenegger) donning his signature sunglasses (which are a trademark of Arnold's in his role of the Terminator), should have a slightly altered version of Reptile's second fatality when performed on him in his Commando skin, in which rather than simply having his hand hang limp as is usual for all other characters, he gives a thumbs up, as the portrayer of this skin in particular (in a spiritual sense) famously did in T2.
