I'll be moving to Glasgow this summer (June) for 3 months. While I'll be there for career related purposes I'll only be working 4 days a week and will have minimal things to do outside work since I know no one in the Glasgow area. I have family that live in northern Scotland and a friend who lives in Norwhich - that's it. Any MK players wanna meet up in between June and August? Any fess for trains and such can be covered by business expenses so no worries in me taking a train ride anywhere within the UK. I'll still be heading back to the States for EVO, most likely.
Go down to the london gamerbase casuals if it's possible outside of work time, they're on thursday nights and start at about 6 I think. You'll probably get the biggest turnout their too, I'm sure we could all organise to go down for the occasion. The Twins, Smokey, and Karnage live in norwich afaik, and there are a handful that live around london, but everyone else is pretty scattered.
Me and Ketchup are in norwich for university, we'll be heading back to our hometown during summer but we could quite easily just get a train back to norwich for the time you're here
That's pretty awesome that you're heading to the UK area, they have a lot of great MK players. I honestly put guys like Foxy, the Super Condiment Bros., and Glue on the same level as people like CD Jr. and REO.
Sweet, we'll have to plan something guys! I can absolutely take a train to Norwhich a few Thursday's. I can always stay at my friends place as well since I don't work on Friday's. And "maybe" if someone wants to go to EVO with me, I might be able to business expense 2 flights. I'll look into how much I can take advantage of the system.
I will absolutely be demanding Nerfs during the entire visit when I go to the Piccadilly offline sesh. What ever your character has that is any good, its asking to be nerfed. Just sayin...
Yeah, Norwich and London Gamerbase will be lush. And even if you just come down to Norwich they'll be a good 5 or more of us.
