There's a nasty rumour going around that at the correct spacing Cassie can make her 50/50 safe. People would space it so that on hit the flip would launch the opponent whereas on block the flip would whiff and make Cassie safe.

Some characters have the punish really easy like Jacqui, Predator and Erron. Whereas some characters like Bo Rai Cho and Scorpion (if he needs to use 3~Spear/Aura/Minion rather than just EX tele) have a really tough time punishing it every time. However difficulty is no match for practice, and everybody can get it consistent if they put in the time :)

I just took this to practice, it really is easy to punish as Jacqui.

Lol I really tried to get a full combo punish with her but I couldn't do it, haha. I tried run in jab, I tried EX Lift, I tried run in B3. It could just be my execution, you should lab it and try yourself :)

Ironically enough no, she has great trouble punishing Kotal on block because her s4 and s1 don't have enough range. If she wants to punish things like the overhead slice, she needs to do an instant run, s1. This is surprisingly difficult because you can't buffer it :/.

If you're talking about on whiff, yes she can run in and punish. It's actually funny, if Takeda whiffs a b21, she can run in from full screen and whiff punish hahahahaha.

Yeah I was talking about on block. Ugh, it would help so much if NRS added a mechanic to do something like buffer run for as long as you're in block stun then run as soon as your out. Some punishes you have to be bang on the frame with your run input or you ain't getting a punish!

Yeah the recovery on some moves is hilarious lol. Look at D'vorah if she whiffs like F22 or something haha.

I've known this for long lol. It's more like a gimmick. The problem is can you REACT in time to realize that a 7f move just whiffed, run in and punish. On block flip cause a slight frame freeze but on whiff the recovery of df2 comes ealier

all you'd have to do is recognize the setups where cassie players do f3 flip, and outside of brawler doesn't occur organically
