Megan Fox expresses interest in playing the role of Kitana in recent interview

There hasn't been much word on the new/next Mortal Kombat movie that has been supposedly in the works for some time now. However, through ComicBook.com they posted a very interesting interview with Megax Fox in regards to superheroes. She begins talking about her role as April in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies and is later asked in the interview about what "villain" would she like to portray. She struggles to find a real answer and then she grasps onto Mortal Kombat's Kitana. She mentions that she's always loved her fan blades, etc.

The question is: what is happening with the new Mortal Kombat film? Well, apparently James Wan (Fast and Furious 7) is calling it simply "Mortal Kombat" and..." The previous word on the project is that it is a complete reboot, and won't include any of the events of the previous films. In fact, it is being called a departure from the mythology. The film is being written by David Callaham and Oren Uziel."

While we are on the topic of an MK move and casting, Kung Lao's voice actor from MKX is actually a badass. Will Yun Lee was in the 2013 Wolverine movie as one of the Ninjas, so not only does he look and sound the part, but he could do it too. I think he would make a great (no pun intended) Kung Lao.
