So I've just started using Raiden and I'm trying to do the B312>>DF2 but when i get to the DF2 I either end up uppercutting or just punching air.. Im on an xbox 360 controller which i know sucks but is there any shortcut or anyway around this? thanks in advance...

Well, what I usually do is a JIP B312 + 2, DF2 and then 334 Superman for 38% midscreen no meter. But I'm not that good with Raiden but I know how to use him.

What Spirit said.But don't go fishing for B312 combos.It's a counter-poke tool.Use F24 and 334 more.Hell, even 121 is fucking amazing.

You are doing the df2 too fast after dashing. Wait a tad bit after you dash, then input it.

I thought that too but I've tried, pretty sure its just my crappy xbox 360 D-PAD..

I use b3,1,2,dash,f2,shock and that always works for me, I also follow up with either f2,3,superman or f2,vicinity blast, superman. I use those due to low risk of dropping the combo.

if you use a pad, you can try doing the df, db, fd, bd motion on your analog stick, you may have more success.
