What's up with Killer Instinct?
I believe that this is Jade's most crucial ability and the key to understanding all of her matchups. I say that because I heavily studied the damage she receives from each character's special moves and then I play against those characters as much as possible to fully understand their strategy. So, I'm going to post all the damage she receives from each character's special attacks and hopefully this can help everyone learn her matchups better, including myself. If anyone has more information not listed please feel free to add to the pool of knowledge, any amount of help is appreciated.

General Knowledge
1. Of course we know that projectiles pass through her
2. She doesn't experience any hit stun for about 2 seconds
3. She takes an increase in damage and even chip damage on hit
4. Can't avoid X-Rays
5. Uppercuts - 18%
6. Sweeps - 11%
7. Throws - 2% (This includes nearly every move that starts as a throw or has a throw in it)
8. Once your health hits 50% this Ex. Move becomes very risky

Strategy
- I believe that her Ex. Glow has 2 purposes. (I recently notice several other things she could use this for so there may be 3 purposes)

1. A Parry
- because of the increase in damage she receives I realized that her Ex. Glow is strictly a tool for attacking and getting in as much as possible. Her best option to make this move effective while at the same time taking as little damage as possible is to use this skill as a surprise attack on the opponent. Especially if you can't open the opponent up you can catch them off guard with this ability during their strings and go into a full punish.

2. Safe Armor
A. Jump out of the corner with no fear of getting anti-aired
B. When you knock your opponent into the corner (just like Sub-Zero's Ice Clones) you can activate this move and stand over them. This helps "persuade" them to avoid using any wakeup attacks to escape.
C. Full protection during zoning wars
D. Activate as you pressure the opponent to scare them from trying to escape. You can also use it to get them to run away from you (this is her most intimidating tool after all)
E. Guarantees that your anti-airs will work

Dash - 0% (completely whiffs)

Parry - deactivates (This blew my mind, his parry won't work at all when she hits him)

Most dangerous in the game? No.... she takes 50% more damage and she really can't do too much after it's successful anyway...

My honest assumption is that she is so terrible in this game because her Ex. Glow is so broken. Giving 2 second of invincibilty to anyone else would be beyond unfair, so, I agree that the only way to make her fair would be to give her some decent weaknesses. But, I feel like it made her imbalanced in a bad way. They could at least give her better mix ups, or a smaller hit box, or make the invincibilty last longer, or give her really good damage, or something. =0

When I saw I lost almost half life from a wrongly inserted glow, a little Jade love died inside of me.

I'm glad you guys like this I hope it helps you out. I saw that no one took interest in her Glow so I decided to post this. I'm thinking I should also post a matchup chart thats more up-to-date for Jade players to discuss.
