Question - Leatherface Anyone else eating their words?

When Leatherface was first announced, I was so against the character being in a Mortal Kombat game. Not really because he's a movie character, because I like Alien and Predator, but because he didn't seem like a character that could compete in the universe. Not to mention, I hated all of the movies besides the very first one.

But i'm not gonna lie, when I saw the character's moves, the diversity in the variations, and oh my, Butcher and the Butcher specific brutality, I was hype. They really put a lot of thought and work into what a lot of people and myself included, thought was just a money grab.

Honestly, Alien is still who i'm most interested in. Although, if it doesn't have what i'm looking for, i'm 100% comfortable in falling back on Butcher. This isn't a big deal obviously, it's just a video game, but I've never been so against something in my life, just to be 100% for it after less than an hour's worth of information.

Fellow TYMers, BUTCHER BOYZ. Leatherface supporters, i'm sorry. March first can't come sooner.

Not really, because I don't like throwing the words "bland", "boring", and "waste" to describe characters I don't know squat about.

I rather have real MK fighters

He looks fun to play but I'd still take any other character than Leatherjensen. Imo he is only here because of Leatherface film being in production. Gotta say they at least recreated him well. I love his "I won" animation, reminds me of the only good film in the entire fucking franchise.

Nope, I still don't care for his inclusion and honestly find the entire concept of it in poor taste on NRS's part.

TBH he still doesn't fit the mythos for me. Maybe it's because he's not as iconic as Jason but I'm not digging him and won't buy him.

i dont care about how cool or whatever his moves are, its because i want a real mkx or original character that probably we can play again for mk11, but i do like his pretty girl mask, thats it

Yeah, i'm not saying that Leatherface, even with this much effort and diversity in his variations, is cooler than any MK character with the same treatment.

Atm Jason just sits at character select. No one besides a couple people in this huge community really play him, despite his popularity. Two of the variations are basically the same. The character is terrible in comparison to the rest of the cast.

We clearly didn't get that here with Leatherface.

Honestly, I now think it's better to save him for MK11 and give him a big premier. Putting him in MKX at this point would just reinforce his undeserved C-status.

As for Leatherface, I still think he looks boring, but he probably has the best win pose in the game.

He is super lame.

I was pretty indifferent to his inclusion. It is what it is and these decisions were made long before their reveal. If they would have brought a classic MK fighter people would moan about that too because of how they looked or that one of their other favorites isn't the one chosen. Basically no matter what NRS does people cry. With all that said I'm actually impressed with what they have done with the character. Turned out better than what I thought.

Leatherface must be rotten pile of old lady's poop diarrhea tier if scrubs like Tyler and Derek can manage to win 1 round against 16 bit.

In a gameplay perspective, seems well done.
It has lot of tools and the variations (love Killer's) add variety to his game plan, maybe he's too strong, but only time will tell this.

In every other perspective he's a lame generic boring fat psycothic maniac with a chainsaw that act like a brainless idiot, moving silly and with a pathetic haircut.
The more I see him in the Kombat Kast, the more I feel a disgusting bad taste in my mouth.
Totally not my cup of tea.

if anything, he's better than Jason. I really dont like how bland and meh Jason is. they gave Letherface a much more enjoyable personality.

Guys plz, he is obviously rushed. Half of his elements are left out, he could be the best DLC with some creativity
