Don't worry, I'll be playing mystic all day trying to get used to him. I'd love to play him competitively but I'm just questioning his tools vs. mos. he has no projectile but that was fixed with his bf2 being a lot safer and his bf2 can anti air almost anything. Even though it's -14 it has good range so it's hard to punish unless you have a quick range move like sub or kung lao. I'll definitely be giving mystic a try cause I've always wanted to but he's always been garbage until now

I do play and main shinnok. I am most likely not going back to ermac. I am just testing and playing in the beta right now.

his db1 is still the same and I cant remember what their recovery is but when I was playing him it seemed pretty quick. The only time it wiffs is if the opponent is too far away or they teleport and its really hard to punish unless you have a fast, full screen move like kenshi or anyone with a teleport so the only way to punish is to teleport.

yeah his damage is lacking. I still think either mos or spectral is the best variation but mystic seems like he actually has a use now

Mystic always seemed fine to me. All he really needed was a safer push which he has now.

The damage difference is still over 5% midscreen and 10% corner. Which is a non-issue, imo. Mystic can convert off more situations than Spectral or MoS meterless (such as, JIK's on standing opponents, or an Air Soul Blast)

Also, he gets -1 on block unfuzzyable mixups for a bar (which grants him health and drains meter on hit for 18%~). That's pretty good.

MOS has more tools and does better damage. Just tweak the damage scaling on Tele-Hang and it will be viable.

Mystic Ermac is like Balanced though. They both gets lots of hate. Most will just posture rather than admit they could use some help. Without it, they're not at all viable.

what are these MoS midscreen and corner combos that are supposedly 5-10% more? and from what starter

I think anyone having a -1 Armoured move that pushes them full screen can't be too terrible.

Plus, his F43 being safe is a big deal now.

have a lot of respect for honeybee but dude just cus a top player says the character is good doesn't mean they are. remember the abysmal tremor?
all i'm saying is he didn't get much and i really hate this patch cus they gave ferra/torr a lot fo unnecessary buffs and i'm pretty sure he's gonna get nerfed to hell soon
