R.I.P Kobra 2004-2015 we hardly knew ye.
I dont think there gonna take away the command grab combos for commando especially with the positive reaction everyone has had to it.

So someone with beta access give me some insight on this new 2,2 string in Kommando, please.

What's it look like? What's the range? Properties?

I know 2 already existed as a normal, but whats the second hit like?

it's already and instant air whiff punishing fullscreen low, a command grab and now an overhead. idk any more buffs to it at this point why not just require kano player's opponents to wear a blindfold every match
It could be unblockable :DOGE

Air ball could be better, like both the overhead and low come out on block, and you'd be able to MB cancel into the unblockable grab on block as well. Just a fantasy, icing on the cake buff.

His new 2,2 string has really good range and does 12% damage if I remember.

You can add it to b321 in the corner for a command grab or his ex df1 shank a bitch for some really good damage but I tried testing it out has anti air as well and I was presently surprised on the corner carry it has.

I did b321, 11, 32+13ex, b1 b1 2,2 Kano knees in the corner for some hellish amount of damage last night. The beauty is the 2,2 seems to gel so well with the command grabs.

2,2 needs to be across all variations in my opinion.

His air throw returning can't hurt either if you ask me.

Can't get my hopes up just yet until the final tweaks are made but as of now... Kano is actually more dangerous than he's ever been in mkx. All variations with Commando being a behemoth for up close operations. Three good ticks and you've got yourself about 40% damage meterless. It makes sense, I'm a grappler so STAY AWAY. I'll be streaming the beta live soon and post up a 54% one bar combo and some other neat grappler 50/50 set ups.

So I've learned that I have better reactions than I thought. my fingers are still trash, and very few people punish the B13 gap

I soooo screwed my own self last fight. I couldn't get my fingers to do a command throw. LOL! Overall a positive experience. The damage Kano can do in a short time is amazing! No fancy comboing needed, just punches and grabs. Commando is all about business, leave that fancy 15 hit somewhere else. There is no need to use meter for damge, so save it for breakers. 1,1,2 into command grad is a easy 25%. The tick throw pressure is amazing! 3,3 command grab works even if it hits the person blocked or not. 2,2 is amazing and the range is good for surprising folks. Just the being able to tick throw more means a easier 16% damage everyone, so imagine how fast that can add up?
