dude just play with people that you know have a wired connection and problem solved.
the most you will ever get is an indicator that someone is using wifi.
I be pretty fucking mad I went to play cod and It wouldn't let me because I was on wifi.
btw not everyone has a house of their own to poke holes in it

Played the beta for about 2 hours and all I can say is..it feels different. Standing 1's can anti air, you can play patiently(turtle) and win, you can actually PUNISH players now. WHOO! Pokes actually means something! I have to totally retrain myself cause I'm getting beat by stuff i use to get away with. I'm have a blast right now.

No more wild Kano balling. Im getting punish on that. LOL!

Anyone else having issues with PSN disconnecting you despite no internet connectivity issues? All my other devices are ok but PSN just signs me out every 10 minutes or so today. Have talked to a few others in Rooms who have experienced the same thing.

Gonna try out the beta now and see if the issue persists.

NRS has done NOTHING BUT LISTEN to the community. Online has been by far their biggest struggle and their doing this to help. They've opened Beta forums on the official forums, etc.... it's a big deal to them and to us.

I just got my beta code tonight after constantly checking my email for two weeks...I finally get home and go to install and it's taking eons :(

I'm glad more and more people are slowly joining the beta. With that said, I would like to ask if anyone have a spare code? (not for me but for a friend who completely dropped the game in the first month and a half of MKX's release and sold it back to gamestop because the online was so bad.) been talking to my friend on Facebook on how they are currently fixing the online gameplay and he seems very interested now. I told him where to register for beta and he hasn't had any luck. A code would be appreciated.

EDIT: XBOX ONE.

...Lol I totally forgot Shinnok was in that group of characters added. Someone said he was in, I figured more characters got added.

Ok so I finally got a beta code. I am from NICARAGUA WHICH IS A COUNTRY THAT DOESNT OFFER THE BEST INTERNET. My connection is 5mb down 1 up. With this connection I have been able to play any online game except for MKX. I installed the Beta today and now I can say I can finally play MKX online. With pings of 130-180 I was able to play good I didn't even notice any rollback anything higher than that and I could notice a lot of lag. The experience for me doesn't feel yet exactly like offline, It took a little bit of time for me to adjust and be able to connect my combos but I am guessing people with better connections will have no problem. Eventually the people in my house woke up and started using the internet and then I was unable to play but that is a problem with my connection and not the netcode. I am positive that if I have the internet all for myself I will be able to play with no issues. Really happy :)

Wow.

Milenna has always been a sub of mine in MK9 and MKX(Ravenous) but something about this beta is really making me love her more.


I mean, I have two mains already in(the Briggs) but I'm having so much more fun with Mileena.

And I don't feel like a disgusting pig anymore because roll, tele, and d2 aren't free anymore because of the new netcode.

Her combos are still super fun, except now I can get even crazier without fear of dropping them.
