looks interesting, im guessing the d-pad is more sensitive to quarter circles and such? It has a round shape.

The fightSTICK looks great and I want one. These fightpads on the other hand remind me of the cheap little handheld games I would get in a McDonalds happy meal as a child.

looks like the right thumbstick got the axe since the first prototype...not liking that "d pad" but maybe it's good. Sure, they make great fightsticks but the parts that matter are out-sourced on the t.e.2.

I will pick one up but I am not happy with the price. There's no way they can charge close to double the price of a Hori FC4. $90 CAD for that pad is way too much considering Mad Catz does not have a great track record for producing quality fight pads.

The TES+ and TE2+ look good but they are also overprice. I don't think the TES+ has the easy mod feature.

Looks pretty horrific to be honest. Wont know until i try one but doubt it will be that comfortable to use

My thumb is aching just looking at the placement of that d-pad...

Why can't these companies perfect the d pad on these "fight pads"? It's the most important part for fighting gamers and the only ones that have done it right is Hori. To me, there are only two competent fight pads....Hori FC4 and the PS2 pad. With fighting games gaining in popularity again, these controller making companies need to step their game up and give us something that can compete with the FC4. Is durability, comfort, and a simple well placed d pad so much to ask for? I will pay big money for a controller that gives me all of that, not for this garbage looking pad.

Something tells me that d-pad will be the truth. Might be a floating style d-pad. Having used the Saturn pad before, and owning Logitech pads, floating done right makes crosshair look weak in comparison.

I'm sad they got rid of the right analog. That would have made the pad prime for a stock pad replacement, and making the 90 dollar price tag a little more understandable.

I'm optimistic. Hopefully the face buttons have their positions adjusted. The last 2 buttons look awkwardly placed.

Even though he is performing them on the left side which is easier, the moves he's showing off require you to go back to neutral and those are the type that have always been a problem with disc style d-pads. I don't know if I'll buy one given that there are PS1/2 to XBONE / PS4 converters and I know how the older pads perform.
