TBH the only things I'd change is making his universal EX df2 faster. It's 19 frames and gets stuffed often by a few characters. And the armor on the teleport should last until the second hit comes out, because 3 times in the beta, someone threw Blanche, I EX teleported to punish, and when I came back for the low hit, I slid on the floor and was missing 16% of my health. :mad:
Ex df2 isn't a thing in any variation of takeda, and lasher doesn't have a teleport.

for df1 and d+f+1, if you have input shortcuts off this isn't a problem. But the inputs for df1 needs to be changed.

I think db2 needs to be a hard knockdown too
I have input shortcut on and I do it fine :/ also sure I will take whip trip being a hard knock down but I really don't think that is necessary. Yeah it would be nice but I personally don't think he needs it :/

What do you really gain by having input shortcuts on I have been playing with it off since lunch
I honestly have no idea, I feel no difference when I turn it off. I just leave it on because why not. It isn't like release check where it will completely fuck you over if you have it on

I have to turn input shortcuts off with Lasher Takeda because when I try to do a diagonal d1, I'll end up getting a whip strike.
Try going forward to down, it works great for me, although I'm on a fight stick so that probably has something to do with it lol

I think the only things that would make Lasher "complete" would be:

- Make df2 a hard knockdown. This would supplement his mix-up and oki game and possibly add a few more damage to his hard knockdown BnBs.

- Make the overhead in f122+4 and Whip Trip a mix-up. As of now you can fuzzy guard or react to the overhead. I'm not sure how they could do this though without changing the string. Even if they made Whip Trip slower, you could probably still block low and react to the overhead.

- Change the input for df1 to either dd1 or df2. This move randomly comes out when trying to input d+f+1 because if the game registers you inputting down first you'll get df1 instead.
you know I've thought about this too, but I have thought about switching it to d1+2 . this as a stick user would feel comfortable to me I don't know how comfortable some pad users might think though . thoughts?

Generally I think with it off you get no option selects like you would woth it on.

I saying in general I think having input shortcuts on gives you the option to option select, when you have it off you can't. I'm not positive on that, but I thought this was the case.

I don't think Takeda has many option selects.

There may be a gap now between f122+4 and close Kunai. Anyone else notice this or was I daydreaming?

I thought the gap was only with the mid Kunai. If so, that might be one of his changes.

I tried armoring out of it, but couldn't.

Maybe I'm just bad,but I tried ex frost Bomb, ex slide and even an X-ray lol

Kitana must be a nightmare for Lasher right? She can easily pushing -11 whip with either standing 2 into full combo or reversal throat slice for the easiest punish in the gane

She can't punish it when optimally spaced, the key tool in that match up is low slash, and being patient.
