Scorpion can punish b33 and b2
If I remember correctly b33 is like -10
B33 is -8 unless they changed it, so woo a D1 punish. B3 is -5 but you don't sound like the type to hit co. I'm not going to tell you how to get in, mix up, and punish with your character because frankly I don't play SubZero, but it sounds like you're just being outplayed...

Wow. Didn't realize that. You should definitely get in touch with the New Orleans scene. We're very active. 20+ man local tournaments and we meet regularly for casuals.

Resolution through knowledge and resolve.
On the flip side of the coin, Scorps slide is like -35 and negative even on HIT and has like D4 range in comparison to yours hitting past midscreen, so maybe complaining that your slide isn't good enough is probably not the best argument for this match up, especially since it was suggested to use it as a punish (aka, risk free)

I know the online beta is just that, a beta, and probably not everything is implemented yet, but seeing how many characters got changes and the lack of reports of any change on Sub-Zero's moves, combined with the fact that Cryo and UB were already featured in September's patch and apparently Paulo saying KP2 will be the last big patch, I wonder if all of Subbies variations are set now and won't change.

There is stuff I'd still like to see that each variation needs and I'm starting to think they won't get it:

- GM is fine but still has bugs.

- Cryomancer needs his Air Hammer to be useful, like being a true restand (like the first hit is currently, just make the second one not a knock down) and/or have a bit more range on its second ground hit or something. Cryo is missing just something to spice his game (he exclusively relies on punishing without having any tool to force those mistakes if not respected) to really be competitive and a useful Air Hammer could be that thing without being broken because it's a slow move (so reactable in the neutral) and you sacrifice damage to properly use it in your corner combos.

- Unbreakable needs the damage penalty on Aura use to disappear and his Ice Parry to be more reliable given how they're the only 2 tools the variation has. My dear Kenshi got his reflect upgraded into a Kotal like parry so there is still hope for UB.

I hope we will see at least something, specially for Cryo and UB, but I'm starting to fear Sub won't be touched again :/

In the beta I noticed I can't do 11 into a clone freeze mid shatter combo anymore, I just get 11 ice burst instead. Is this a nerf or is the execution just different?

The last big patch huh? Well, let s hope they do something with unbreakeable. Although, i have this feeling that NRS give up on unbreakeable and move to cyber subzero.

I will be reaaaaaally mad if the abomination known as cyber Sub-Zero gets buffs requested for Cryomancer and Unbreakable. If they put the work to put them on that 4th variation of Tri-Borg, Cryo and UB should get them too.

One of my hopes is that we're not seeing stuff on Subbie during the beta because it could hint at Cyber Sub moveset and they want to keep it secret for now, but IDK what to think about all of this.

Only thing I'd change on sub is ex clone..or b33.

Cryo eh, could use a change he's kind of just like let me try to rushyl you dow 50/50. Though I'm not sure what to change on him because he could become a bit too strong pretty easily.

Unbreakable does feel like a given up variation. Just for shits I wanna see him get a ground freeze move though lol.

Anyone notice the extreme scaling on his X-Ray?
Interesting, Subbie X-Ray was the only one where the hits before the sequence didn't apply any scaling (all of them apply scaling but X-Rays only start applying damage scale after reaching 0.75, for example after an Iceball, and then they multiply the damage scale by 1.33).

If you hit with a single Iceball and then use X-Ray, how much damage it does? I have the numbers here so if you tell me the damage I can say what's happening.

Tanya for example doesn't have the soft scale on her X-Ray and applies the penalty without multiplying it by 1.33

So, I have been playing the beta for a while. And I have a question for those that are also in:

Does b12~exClone on block seem to be more consistent to you?
Does b2 b2 d1 b12~clone seem consistently functional on female characters to you?

the reason i ask is that there is a lot going around about these, especially the second point, and it does not seem to be the case for me.
As to point 1, I do seem to get b12 exclone much more consistently than in the normal game.

Iv given up on B12xxexklone a long time ago. And for point 2 it does kind of. Could be the better connection but I still don't think its worth using.
