Question - Summoner What improvements would you like to see with summoner for kp2?

If his ex rune is going to be -1 then he should have no cooldown on his bat
I've always favored the zoning of Summoner over the pseudo-unblockables.
Bringing the no cooldown on bat back would make his zoning much better, but they'd have to give more recovery to Trance.
That way, he couldn't summon bats during Trance for insane damage and/or free 1 frame 50/50's.
There has to be some sort of give and take here...

The point he's trying to make is that he's still guessing after his d1 hits. It doesn't stop any pressure, the opponent still has the advantage
Well considering Quan is plus 3 on hit that would give the advantage to Quan... Just because nothing is gaurunteed after it doesnt mean its still your opponents turn. Both players have to guess but its in Quans favor

Its never in quans favor. At the very least, if they are taking all this from him, he should have +6 on his d1 hitting.

So i have to keep defending when i succeed in landing a hit ? You obviously need to open your mind and get out of this fourm because you dont know anything about the character , it says enough when you thought that timing changes when doing blockstrings if you have a faster reversal/ slower.

yep i was wrong and i admitted it, i lacked knowledge and im not ashamed of it.... still it has nothing to do with my point, cause you have access to a low crouching poke wich is 6f and beats almost anything that's relatively minus, just because your only +3 it doesnt mean you dont have options nor it's still your opponents turn to do something, just like if im -3 after orbiting hat doesnt mean i have to give up my turn. Like i said, i can bdash to creat space and bait something, i can jump out, i can even go for a string if the opponent respects your d1 (like i have to pretty much respect his b3 after a d1 on hit),then if i see you maybe go for a bdash after my d1, i can still read a bdash and punish you... what's wrong with all of this?

if yo're just gonna say i dont understand the character and firing personal shots, then ok @ienjoywinning. still 112124xxexhat loops are not a thing
 
Or people arent robots and cant use one frame to block an overhead and low that can hit near the exact same time or be altered to hit in many different ways, leading back up to the same situation.
The MB rune nerf has nothing to do with the hard to blockables, MB rune nerf hurts Sorceror/Warlock more than Summoner. So like I said there is no reason to nerf Warlock because people can't deal with Summoner.

I 100% agree ive wanted him to be more zoning rather than bland 50/50s

Who knows,maybe they didn't want anymore midscreen ex rune you block right but hes +14 so you have to guess right again and again depending on how much meter he has scenario anymore. Ex run was not the biggest complaint about summoner at all, it was the dumb low bat into overhead loopable hard as hell to block vortex and his ridiculous damage. This may be an intentional universal nerf.

do they really wanna challenge your 7f b3 with a button press? they wanna armor? bdash / jump away? well let them armour and punish them, or maybe let them bdash and reset the situation back in neutral state, if you feeling ballsy read the jump back with a trance.

that d1 is not ment to guarantee you a free 50/50 off of a crouching 6f poke that leaves your opponent right in front of you, is meant to get out of pressure.... and you still are +3 so b3 / s1 are pretty much unchallengeble by most of the cast.

Armor bruh, it makes the world go round. But think im going to stop arguing about how quan didnt deserve this kind of nerf, let alone his other 2 variations. Believe what you like. I still got my other Netherealm Bad-boy Shinnok so its whatever.

You have to guess whatever he is going to do when you land the hit , thats what im trying to say , you shouldn't guess its stupid that its -9 and its only +3. Atleast make it 7f on startup and make it -6 or -5
i agree that no crouching poke should be punishable (exept maybe pred d4)

Again that is something you can bait and punish. Its called playing fighting games against a human being, some stuff isnt gaurunteed and you have to make reads sometimes.

His low string is 10 start up and even if it was nine it's not a frame trap
