Also, I was boned good. I purchased KP1 on PC a day or so before the announcement. It's already to late to get a refund :/

Honestly i couldn't give two shits about KP2 or MKXXL if they'll release the balance changes and the improved netcode, they're basically telling us to eat shit with them not releasing balance patches anymore.
We had to endure that through the whole MKX span but around the predator and tremor phase we were getting the patches quicker so I thought they had it figured out. Instead they decided to ditch the whole PC scene which is fine AFTER you finish patching the current fuckin titles you released already not halfway through the title's lifespan with patches still on the way -____-
Holy shit this is so infuriating..

The asshats saying it's not ____'s fault aren't helping either, the whole point is that we got shafted and basically can't stay in the competitive scene and these dudes are like "nah it's WB/HVS/whoever not NRS".. No one told them to fuckin release the title on PC and tell us it'll be just as good as console if they're not gonna follow through with it.
Imagine if they did the same for either PS4 or Xbone where they're like "yeah no more patches for you, buy the other console and the game AGAIN or eat shit". Real classy move. One side basically gets more bang for their buck just coz of the system they bought the game on where the both paid the same amount.

This is discrimination and false advertisement. Plain and simple. The fact that this game exists on multiple platforms and is a competitive game, means that the slightest change in content between the platforms will ruin one or the other (JUST BECAUSE WE ARE ON PC DOESN'T MAKE US ANY LESS PASSIONATE ABOUT MKX OR ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAMES, CONSOLE USERS!).

Like someone said before me ,since it took them 6 months to get the pc version of the game to work smoothly for everyone,the games actually only 3 months old on PC. Cutting the cord as soon as you start making progress (after we had to endure pure incompetence from the beginning and still stuck around) is a nut shot after being punched in the face.

The only people who don't give a fuck about injustices are those unaffected by it.

Thank you for contacting Warner Brothers technical support.

Whilst we appreciate the frustration and upset that this decision has caused, we at technical support have no input on these decisions.

In order for your opinion to be heard please make a post on the official forums regarding this decision.

I've unfortunately lost a lot of respect for some posters in this thread. I wonder do other communities react to their members getting fucked over by blaming them and putting them down with such toxicity.

One would think the solidarity would be with your fellow members of the community not the global mega corporation committed to milking everyone of their money as often and thoroughly as possible

I agree people possibly should have approached the PC version with more trepidation but that doesn't excuse the behaviour of NRS and WB.

Nor can we just blame WB. NRS and WB are, for all intents and purposes, the same corporate entity. WB may make the final call but NRS is part of the corporate structure so they get tarred with the same brush.

Personally, I'm never buying an NRS or WB game first hand again. Doesn't mean I won't play them but ill just wait until there's a pre owned edition in my local traders. I'll then do the same for the complete edition. I get my fix, save money and NRS get nothing from me. Hopefully, if sales fall by enough, WB will sell the MK property and we can get someone above the WB Konami EA level.

Yep, psychopaths are very often seen on top positions in corporate environment. But we have laws to protect normal people/normal businesses from scheming maniacs. It's kind of sad to see psychopathy is commonly shared by little people at the bottom of the pyramid, which can be seen here, among TYM "community".

I don't understand why out of all industries, it's that gamers have the nerve to call other gamers entitled. You go to a restaurant and order a meal, you expect to get what you asked for, and if you can't the restaurant has to comply and assist you with the problems you're having. It's common sense. Entitled is one of those buzz words that triggers me because people don't really know the meaning. Same as people arguing the term casual. Casual, hardcore, who gives a f*ck! Those words are opinionated, just let people game. But Entitled, that word. That word simplifies my due service as a customer and I don't like it.

Okay, so we have
  • PC users attacking anyone who disagrees with their opinion
  • A petition stating that NRS should "Give the PC Version a chance" Right, because they obviously didn't fire HVS and bring in a new studio to try and fix it. Also the page is filled with people using homophobic slurs because it'll definitely change WB/NRS' mind
  • People trying to argue that the PC version sold well somehow. (Hate to tell you, if it did, WB/NRS would probably still be trying to fix all the messed up shit it has)
Yeah guys, keep it up, you're going to completely convince NRS to fix the PC port.
