JUPE Wins FRIDAY XMAS FIGHTS

Hello there! On Friday we hosted our Pre-Christmas FRIDAY XMAS FIGHTS tournament at the Dojo and had a total of 19 people participating. One of them was @Jupe from Finland who put on a great great show and proved everyone, what (Cutthroat) Kano is capable of, by defeating BOKI from our Dojo in one of the most intense Grand Finals we've ever had!

Also, two friends from Germany visited us, to participate at the tournament and take away Austria's money ;)
Shoutouts to @Smascer and STB's own @STB Boba Grimes who made overall 3rd place.

Unfortunately the stream had some issues, and we had a few disconnects, but nevertheless thanks to everyone who stuck with us till the end and enjoyed some great European Competition.

Also, the Top3 placings were not just rewarded with some esports-money, but also by presents, made by TheHatschka

Cutthroat's neglected because its design is a little weird, but tbh he shouldn't have been touched in the first place. They just made him worse lol. Jupe is probably the best Cutthroat in the world right now because noone else has actually done as well as he's doing so far :) I know Mustard has a Cutthroat but we're yet to see that in tournament so until then it's all Jupe!

Dude, I know, I was right there with you in Kano's forum after the patch + hotfix. :p

Btw. I saw Mustard's Kano (not in tournament unfortunately) and I think Jupe is much much better.

All the good stuff of course...:

A medal, a cerificate and some unique austrian things like Ottakringer beer, Vöslauer mineral water, Mozart Kugeln (chocolate), Mozarts "Kleine Nachtmusik" (CD) and some magazine

I guess it pays of to visit FFF :)

@Jupe , it was really nice meeting you; your Kano is awesome. As is your finnish liqueur :)
@Smascer , @STB Boba Grimes it was very nice to see you guys again. Hope we'll meet again in Stuttgart.
Sorry that I couldn't make it on saturday but I think Jokey did a good job in showing you the way of drinking in Austria :)

I had such an awesome time this weekend, you guys were so welcoming, felt like we weren't even from the outside. It was real nice seeing everyone again, and meeting new faces like Boki and @Jupe (I wasn't ready for that Kano...). The presents were really cool as well, and now I FINALLY have a medal! :D

But goddamnit, I got REKT on saturday, shoutouts to @jokey77 for having to put up with drunk Boba (and I mean like really fucking drunk). Hope I didn't do anything bad, I have like no memory of the night. :| I apologize for any inappropriate behavior. lol

But yeah, overall, the 5 hour drive was more than worth it. Now I really can't wait for Viennality!

I have to add that @Jupe and I played another set on Saturday and EVERYTHING was on the line, including the FFF victory from Friday!

Long story short: I won said ultimate set and thus should be mentioned as the real winner! Predators seem to never receive the honour they'd deserve!

That being said I levelled up a lot this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon!
