It's all so very confusing.
Started my melee play-through yesterday on Survival. I MIGHT drop it to Hardest until I get my feet planted a little bit, but I doubt it. I'm collecting explosives, and soon I will lead Swan on a merry chase through a mine-field of DHOOOOOOOOOOOOM to get that power fist. Once I have that I will re-evaluate whether I need to adjust difficulty or not.

One thing that melee does that I just didn't think of, is make you rich. Not having to buy and being able to sell, all the ammo I come across? Jeebus.

So, uh...I think I've seen the light with melee. >_>

I killed Sarge (I think it was him, anyway) and he dropped this fist melee weapon that looks like it has metal railing poking out of the block at its tip. I can't remember what it's called, but SHEEEEEIT! It's insane. It's so good that I had to start putting points into melee perks and shit. It's also wonderful not having to worry about ammo at all, lol.

I'm seeing the same reason from more and more people in regards to why they don't want to use the Idiot Savant perk: The less-than-two-seconds sound that you hear when the perk procs. Some people are completely losing their shit over this small little bit of sound. >_> Watch Bethesda release a patch that lets you disable the sound and just see the pop-up on your screen.

...and people are saying it's offensive. I really hate the Internet sometimes.

That sound fills me with such joy. Sometimes when I don't hear it I reload my quicksave just so I can make sure I hear it...

All too easy...
Here's that melee weapon I was talking about that stacks poison and bleed damage

I'll edit the location in but I forgot how to do spoiler tags lol

Location:

Dunwich Borers Quarry, north east portion of map. Sneak bobblehead is also inside, just search thoroughly

Right next to the embed video icon is an icon that says "Insert...". It has the spoiler one there. Alternatively, you could type "SPOILER" (in all caps, no quotes) with [ at the beginning and ] at the end of the word. Then do [/] (insert "SPOILER" after the /) at the end of it.

Noob's saibot or noob saibot's?
The faction system in this game is really weird because it lets you join all the factions.

Right now I'm the General of the Minutemen, a Brotherhood Knight, The Railroad's go-to guy along with a bunch of other things I became through side quests(Like the Silver Shroud or "General Supervisor" of the Mass Atomics Galleria).

Like I know thats going to bite me in the ass eventually but I would've thought one of the factions would call me out considering they all have conflicting interests lol.
oh yeah well you aint an honourary lieutenant of the congressional army with a napoleon hat :DOGE

Nah I don't think so. In the beginning when you walk past the other chambers some have bullet holes in their head. Some have cracked chambers and stuff. But then yours is just perfectly left in tact to come out and explore lol. Haven't done much of any of the main story but just thought it was pretty absurd.
Hmm, I didn't notice the bullet holes, just the computer saying they died of asphyxiation. I'll have to go back and look again.

On another note, went into my first subway station, I think a College Park or whatever is called. They did a nice job making it creepy, especially the way the ghouls wake up now.

Is that the Subway Station slightly north of Diamond City in that town? That's the only one I've found but it was pretty cool.
